Technical: Miele S8 , C3 Complete - Cylinder Vacuum Cleaner , Strip down & Re-assembly. PART 1

This is Part 1 of a 2 part video showing how to completely dismantle a Miele S8 or now known as a C3 Complete, canister / cylinder vacuum cleaner, to give access to the motor and cordreel. You will only need the following tools in order to complete the task - Torx T20 screwdriver, Large flatbladed screwdriver. Level of difficulty - Easy / Moderate. IMPORTANT - If your machine is still under warranty, you should not attempt to dismantle it, as this is likely to void your warranty - Only attempt this if your warranty has expired.
