45:50: Repeatedly drowning the player character to get them through monologuing their crushing self-doubt faster has to be one of the saddest yet funniest things I've seen in a speedrun.
I honestly thought this would be less entertaining for being swingless, but as soon as I saw the first big speedy jump from a wallrun, I knew I was actually in for a treat! The sudden crash ending was pretty jarring, but after reading the author's notes and finding out why it's like this, I find it perfectly understandable. How convenient that the crash just so happens to be just after where the final input would be anyway! Like, imagine if it crashed while loading into the final boss instead... Truly serendipitous.
Hats off to anyone who could play this game swingless. That was my favorite part of the game. I spent SO much time just swinging around new York just for the fun of it.
No webs made this physics look even cooler somehow. I know the new Spider-Man games force you to swing after every jump. It's how they designed it. So I don't mind.

Peter should realize he lives in damn new york where criminals never stop he won't have time for dating let MJ go man and focus on being the best super hero
