OMG!!! You have just contributed a transformational seed to my remaining days on this planet.
I was blindly following a distant call, as I gathered my pennies, and went off to the local art supply outlet in our little town. I then spent 2 month's rent on paper, littlest tubes of pigments, and a hand full of brushes ....followed tutorials on TH-cam, with my grin getting wider day by day.
And after a month of this .....I came to you this evening.
    Hallelujah!
I'm in my 70th year living inhabiting this earth suit. Clearly have no sense how much longer my piece will b on the board, however there's no longer the slightest doubt why I've purchased these exquisite sheets of hand made papers, or these wee tubes of splendour.
I've been going looser and looser on my tutorial trail.
    .....and then there was you.
    Blessings on your journey,
and if you'll send me your mailing address and shoe size, you'll be receiving some warm socks and a scarf before the chill of fall is in the air.
In the interim, wishing you the very finest spring imaginable.
    In gratitude achille
You can PM me through face book with your mail coordinates, if you're willing to allow me to contribute some wool to your life.

I ADORE YOUR WORK! I am an arttutor subscriber and have watched all your classes. I love the big brush loose style with the rigger work later. Really beautiful use of color....lot the natural mixture on the paper and although tube greens are admonished by some I think SAP green should be sold as an antidepressant! Such and inviting happy green. Thank you for the gift of sharing your talents.

Firstly thank you for sharing. One of the hardest lessons I have had with art is to be able to go further and (it appears) deconstruct a perfect piece of art. As many commented about when they would stop. (As would I). Coming out the other side with something so much more interesting is a skill indeed. Again. Thank you and one day I will be brave enough to take that next brave brushstroke 😌

There are few things more beautiful than nature and yet your poppy creation you have shared with us is just that! I, too, wished you had stopped after six minutes or so as I thought you could not improve upon it and you would only 'muddy' the waters. I was wrong. You went on to breathe more life and vibrance into it. Bravo!

I love that you use some opaques in your paintings (Cadmiums, cerulean, Indian red, etc) but you use them in a transparent manner and always make them work without going muddy. Put them on let them do their own thing and don't mess with them. Thanks for the demos Andrew, as always.

One minute in and already I'm transfixed. As I said below to someone else's comment. although I've only just begun watching the video, this is what I think of when I think "watercolor". I'm a beginner and am seeing a lot of stuff online that looks small, tight, and much too fussy and static, at least for my taste. Although I admire and appreciate precise painting that looks like a photograph, that's not what I want to achieve. I'm excited to have found you and can't wait to see more.
