This is the message I wish I saw everywhere. It was always important but, in times these, there has to be engagement at every single level of government if we really want to enact policies that push the nation forward. Just like the census, misinformation and/or apathy results in our people getting the short end of the stick every time.
Marcus, you aren't an expert, but you're right with a lot of what you said. The problem with a lot of Americans is we vote for President, don't vote for Congress, don't vote at the local level, don't even fill out the damn Census- even though that's how government resources and Congressional representation are allocated, but expect the country to magically be something different. It has never worked that way. A lot of times, the people complaining about nothing being done are the same people that aren't civically engaged. Politicians have the power we give them. That's why gerrymandering exists. You either give them power actively by voting, or you give them power passively by doing nothing. For me, the very least I can do is vote for the things I claim to want for my country and community.

Black men and health/staying fit Being fathers of both genders, Add in pop ups shorts of how/what Fathers teach their daughters, how/what Fathers teach their sons.

Its like if im black but make the statement from my experience black people hate on their own people more than other races, would be true to me and not another black person doesn't make me racist. It just me stating my experience. Or chasing to approach a situation one way just to try and keep down drama dont make me wrong if someone else chooses to approach it with an attitude or questions. Some situations get handled differently depending on what type of day you having sometimes.
