Nukesaku I think is just a reference, like they wanted as many obscure references as possible as fan service. I watched Part 3 recently and I completely forgot Nukesaku even existed until now so it's kinda like a little easter egg for fans with better recollections or something.

This is the closest thing we have to telling which characters were born with stands or not This can provide interesting context for some characters like Vanilla ice, where he was described in the OVA as being abandoned by society before being picked up by Dio. Which is really interesting and can lead to some interesting theories, like what if Cream lost control of his stand as a child and killed his parents or something, and now he looks for his guardian in Dio or something like that Or maybe I’m looking too deep into “oh dang it guys we need to make a new form of this guy as a kid, yeah that will work.”
Midler’s transformation is honestly really adorable. Like I was expecting the red dress version she is in the actual story, but no it’s her as little girl and that’s cool.

As old as this game is, I love it to bits. Such smooth sprite animation, with so much details that are so accurate with every character, and hidden Easter eggs! Also for the fact that the game actually gave an insight as to what some of the characters were possibly like in their childhood, and wether they were Born Stand Users or not. It’s pretty amusing Knowing that Araki decided to have Midler obtain her Stand since she was a kid, when he gave her an actual design around this time. And now mowing that both Alessi himself, Vanilla Ice, all have their stands when they were children, makes you wonder just how far back their twisted nature goes.
This is my favorite Jojo games. It’s fast, flashy, full of fan service and just a great time all around. Secret playable characters too, in an arcade fighting game! I wish they would port this to consoles.
There was a port on the ps3, but it was delisted due to licensing issues. Sadly I don't see the game getting re-released in an official capacity anymore.

For most people who don't know why most of them have stands when they are kids well their is three ways to get an stand 1 being: gamble your life with the arrow 50 50 chance of either death or surviving. 2 is: you can get an stand when your born. Hot damn what a trip to the past! I played this game in 2001 or so in a console arcade near my house. It was fun as heck, but ppl didn't knew what Jojo was at the time, it wasn't as famous as today is
I love how with some like Rubber Soul ,Mariah, 2nd Kakiyoin and Dio it references something from earlier in their fight, with Iggy an earlier design, and Shadow Dio the Part 1 decapitated Dio. Weirdly enough the cow is the only thing in the future of that character, this is some very nice atention to the story
References I see so far: Jotaro turns into a kid, referencing a scene from Part 3 when Alessi turned him into a kid Polnareff turns into a kid, the same way how Alessi turned him into a kid during their encounter in Part 3 Iggy transforms into his earlier design. Nice touch. Rubber Soul (or whatever that dude is named) transforms into that busty woman that we see him turn into during his battle with Jotaro in Part 3. Also, his base form is Rero Kakyoin. That's my nickname for him. One of the persons that Anubis possesses, not sure if it was Chaka or Kahn, turns into a cow, referencing a scene from the Part 3 when Anubis first appeared. Hol Horse turns into Boingo. Lol. Pet Shop turns into an egg. Lol. Kakyoin, after transformed, has a drawing pad in his hand, referencing his first appearance in Part 3 when we see him with the drawing pad. DIO turns into Nukesaku, one of his minions in Part 3 Shadow DIO turns into Wang Chun with Dio's head in a glass case, referencing a scene from Part 1, specifically his final battle with Jonathan on the ship. And Part 2 Joseph turns into a younger version of himself, specifically the version that we see in Part 2 when the men tried to hijack the plane that he and Speedwagon was on in Part 2. Mariah transforms into the old woman that beats the crap out of old Joseph with her umbrella in Part 3. That's all I see so far...
Imagine playing this game at the time when JoJo was not that popular in the west, maybe even under the impression that this was an original capcom ip or something, and just stuck being confused as to why Khan turns into a bull instead of a kid, or why Shadow Dio turns into a disembodied head carried around by a chinese man
It's funny how some of these make no sense from a logic stand point. Several characters turn into different people entirely, Mariah somehow turned older, Khan turned into a fucking COW.
The entire part in the Manga/anime with Alessi was sooo disturbing 😂. Like it was obvious he was just another jobber character at the end of the day, but they did a good job and honestly part of me wondered how Smolnareff was going to pull that one off 😅.

I like that this implies that Devo, Midler, Alessi, Pet Shop, and Vanilla Ice are born Stand users while Rubber Soul, Hol Horse, and Mariah got their Stands from the Arrow.
There are many questionable transformations here, but imagine him trying to transform DIO, only to find himself before Jonathan, holding DIO's head (like in the end of Phantom Blood) and saying: "Dio, what the hell is wrong, here?!'
Some funny implications here are: - Iggy canonically got less ugly in-universe. Getting a human face is just a result of dog aging. - Rubber Soul turned into the woman before turning into Kakyoin, then he turned into the woman again before turning back into his natural form. - The child Hol Horse uses to transport Hanged Man, the old lady Mariah throws out, Boingo, Nukesaku and Wang Chan are all immune to Seth. - Chaka is directly de-aged by Seth, but for Khan it instead goes back Anubis' personal timeline and turns Khan into the cow it was stuck in earlier. - Pet Shop had Horus before it was born. - Vanilla Ice used the Cream void ball trick when he was a child. - Kakyoin wore his shades when he was a child.
I like the fact that young shadow DIO is the head being carried by Wang Chung and that Young Hol Horse is inside the box with Boingo or he is that kid that appeared in the battle against Hanged Man

Avdol - Young self. Original to this game
Kakyoin - Younger self. Possibly a reference to the flashback to him as a child but I think that is anime only
Old Joseph - Part 2 Joseph
Part 2 Joseph - Joseph from the airplane flashback with Speedwagon
Devo - Younger self. Original to the game. Should have turned into a fridge
Rubber Soul - The old woman that he pretends to be on the gondola ride
Hol Horse (J’Geil Version) - The kid that Hanged Man enters the eye of who tries to help Polnareff and Kakyoin
Hol Horse (Boingo Version) - Hol Horse becomes a child and hides under the crate Boingo is usually under as the player plays Boingo for a bit
Midler - Young self. Original. Should have played the small version of High Priestess from the submarine tbh
Chaka - The kid that Anubis possesses at the end of the arc who throws the broken sword
Khan - The cow Anubis possesses at the very end before he is lost in the ocean
Polnareff (Anubis) - The kid that throws the sword again but with a different moveset
Mariah - The grandma that hits Avdol and Joseph

Vanilla Ice - Young self but he is permanently inside a young Cream while young

DIO - Nukesaku, aka the minion that DIO substitutes himself with in the coffin
Shadow DIO - Dio becomes his head from part 1 as he is carried around from the zombified Wang Chen from the end of part 1
As old as this game is, I love it to bits. Such smooth sprite animation, with so much details that are so accurate with every character, and hidden Easter eggs!
Also for the fact that the game actually gave an insight as to what some of the characters were possibly like in their childhood, and wether they were Born Stand Users or not.
It’s pretty amusing Knowing that Araki decided to have Midler obtain her Stand since she was a kid, when he gave her an actual design around this time.
And now mowing that both Alessi himself, Vanilla Ice, all have their stands when they were children, makes you wonder just how far back their twisted nature goes.
This is my favorite Jojo games. It’s fast, flashy, full of fan service and just a great time all around. Secret playable characters too, in an arcade fighting game! I wish they would port this to consoles.
There was a port on the ps3, but it was delisted due to licensing issues. Sadly I don't see the game getting re-released in an official capacity anymore.

For most people who don't know why most of them have stands when they are kids well their is three ways to get an stand 1 being: gamble your life with the arrow 50 50 chance of either death or surviving. 2 is: you can get an stand when your born. And 3 is: getting an stand passively later in life like tonio (from part 4)
Tonio got a stand by being extremely passionate about cooking, that's why his Stand ability is making healing food that tastes impossibly good.

I love how with some like Rubber Soul ,Mariah, 2nd Kakiyoin and Dio it references something from earlier in their fight, with Iggy an earlier design, and Shadow Dio the Part 1 decapitated Dio. Weirdly enough the cow is the only thing in the future of that character, this is some very nice atention to the story
Iggy reverting to the character design of his first appearance is pure genius.

Imagine playing this game at the time when JoJo was not that popular in the west, maybe even under the impression that this was an original capcom ip or something, and just stuck being confused as to why Khan turns into a bull instead of a kid, or why Shadow Dio turns into a disembodied head carried around by a chinese man

It's funny how some of these make no sense from a logic stand point. Several characters turn into different people entirely, Mariah somehow turned older, Khan turned into a fucking COW.

The entire part in the Manga/anime with Alessi was sooo disturbing 😂. Like it was obvious he was just another jobber character at the end of the day, but they did a good job and honestly part of me wondered how Smolnareff was going to pull that one off 😅.

There are many questionable transformations here, but imagine him trying to transform DIO, only to find himself before Jonathan, holding DIO's head (like in the end of Phantom Blood) and saying: "Dio, what the hell is wrong, here?!'
It’s funny how if it’s used on Joseph he’s back in his prime to beat the shit out of you even faster
Some funny implications here are:
- Iggy canonically got less ugly in-universe. Getting a human face is just a result of dog aging.
- Rubber Soul turned into the woman before turning into Kakyoin, then he turned into the woman again before turning back into his natural form.
- The child Hol Horse uses to transport Hanged Man, the old lady Mariah throws out, Boingo, Nukesaku and Wang Chan are all immune to Seth.
- Chaka is directly de-aged by Seth, but for Khan it instead goes back Anubis' personal timeline and turns Khan into the cow it was stuck in earlier.
- Pet Shop had Horus before it was born.
- Vanilla Ice used the Cream void ball trick when he was a child.
- Kakyoin wore his shades when he was a child.
Imagine that the developpers did a whole alternate set of characters JUST for one character attack XD
Making Joseph young put Alessi at a disadvantage...
I like the fact that young shadow DIO is the head being carried by Wang Chung and that Young Hol Horse is inside the box with Boingo or he is that kid that appeared in the battle against Hanged Man
