- Practice... Villa d’Este (Lento, sognando) by Swedish classical composer Wilhelm Peterson-Berger (1867-1942). This piece is from his pianosuite ”Italiana”. I like it very much this Italian-inspired music with to me a Scandinavian touch and sound.
Continous project uploading videos reflecting my everyday musicmaking and practicing. "Music-diary" sort of. Recorded with internal microphone/iPAD. (It’s quite a lot ”room noise” in the recording due to constant heavy traffic outside) In the future it would be nice to do professional recordings playing on better instruments.

Thanks Paul for this comment of Yours, most appreciated! Made me feel proud! 😊 This composer has made quite a lot music. Some of his pianomusic is actually quite well known (recognized) in Sweden even for non classical music listeners. However this Villa d’Este surprised me a lot when I discovered it. To me perhaps not the most typical Peterson-Berger pianomusic. I really like the mood of this pianopiece.

I enjoy all types of piano. I forgot most of the classical stuff I used to know but I never got much practice in while I was working with a lot of business travel. Music was never viewed as an occupation for me. I would have starved ;)

Lovely playing my dear Thomas ! That was very expressive. If you have heavy traffic outside, you might be able to eliminate it by EQing your track, eliminating all frequencies below 100 Hz ? May be someone knows better than I do these technical aspects
