    It seem you have gained some knowledge and wisdom at a young age, congratulations. It will serve you well for the rest of your life. I am a 64 year old retired Director of Operations for a Water/Wastewater Utility . It is surprising how many people get hired because of who they knew. That doesn't mean they were not qualified but it did provide a foot in the door. Discovering the character and integrity of a stranger off the street is hard to do. Often, one of our employees knows someone or has worked with them in the past and can provide some background that an interview doesn't reveal.
    Honestly, I am glad to be old and that my career is over. Life has a different perspective from the other side. All the best!

    My background is in secondary education! You lasted longer than me- I only taught high school science for 3 months 😅
    I chose the entrepreneur route too- still working it, definitely takes time!

      They're both HARD, aren't they?! 😂😅 And I knew of one other teacher in the district who quit after 3 months too!
