Owning this car in 2024+ is a nightmare. Engine and transmission are fine and those are actually pretty reliable components. Its the cursed ABC suspension that will brick this car. The system runs at 200 bar (3000 PSI) and after 60K miles and 12 years, all the rubber and mechanical components start to crap out because of the complexity and how intense the system runs. The worst part is that Mercedes is starting to discontinue OEM support for critical components native to the 1st gen ABC like the hydraulic pump, which also doubles for the power steering. Yeah you can replace the ABC with mechanical coils but you won't get the outrageously wicked driving experience that you would otherwise highlighted in this video. I really wouldn't advise anyone to own these unless you are really crazy because of how much of a nightmare the ABC is to upkeep and maintain ~20 years after these cars were discontinued.
When Mercedes Benz AMG was AMGing 🙂↕️
0 to 60 in 4 seconds is crazy
You would think with all that torque, it would be in the 3s
@@blackice7408 it’s a big car
I drove one long time a go and it was amazing how quickly things got so fast. The acceleration from 80-180 is wild.
What part of Mexico were you in?
