That's awesome. The only way to really do this stuff is to break it all down into small chunks and connect the dots over time. I'm going to be making all of my videos like this over time. Keep going one day at a time. :)

First time that I ever even thought of really getting into scales was when I got bored with chord strumming and tried picking individual notes. And then just noodled randomly understanding that I did not know how the notes and the strings harmonized. Like what note should I play next so that it sounds good with another. And then I discovered scales. So that's why I never questioned whether they are useful, scales initially answered my question what to pick so it sounds good.

Jellyfish...as always. I practiced scales for a long time thinking that lightbulb moment would happen. I am so glad you are showing how to use them with triad and creating music. It seams like a no brainier, but it can be difficult to see.

You are so right. Just try and find a couple of new ideas here and there and then you are on your way. Most of all...have fun.

Without pictorial diagrams it’s like “hey look at me, I’m whiz”
A picture tells a thousand explanations.
You can go digest in your own time.

Lately, al of people seem to be enjoying the more clean screen look. I spent a lot of time making charts that go exactly with this lesson. They are linked right in the description for free. I give you the framework, but you will have to give it the vibe that works for you. My vibe is never "hey look at me" and never will be.
