@ Hi Fernando, thanks for the heads up, I noticed that incredible piece of kit in one of your videos, changes a lot of things for sure. What a beautiful idea. I’m actually in Tokyo, if and when I do decide to make the move, I will think of you. Enjoyed watching the updates to your turntable, I think the Technics line of turntables are just beautiful. Been keeping my eye on the Luxman here but I think I prefer the Technics just for the simplicity of design and price. Are you located in Miami, I spent a few years there in the nineties, had a home in Coral Gables, great times. Domo!
Great overview. And other videos. Thanks. Have subscribed. How would you describe the sonic difference between the 1200G and the new 1300G? Also, do they need to be wall-mounted? I have an old suspended belt drive (Pink Triangle) that may be on its last years, but one advantage of it is that it is close to immune to footfall. In fact, I can bang it with my knuckles while it’s playing, and nothing comes through to the speakers. Happy New Year
Since you sell both I’m very curious what do you consider a better purchase Sl1200g Or Mt5 McIntosh, I’m considering one of them and is the Mt10 that much been than the 5 I know that the cartridge alone is like $2200 on the 10 and I truly believe in giving you the business to support our small shops
Hi Sir. In terms of performance the SL1200G is hard to beat at any price. Keep in mind the most important thing is the cartridge so be sure to put most of your budget towards that. If you have a full McIntosh system I would stick with the MT5 or MT10, the looks, convince and great integration makes them a great option.
Come on Fernando ... make my day and spin the 1000R platter on a 1200G - wanna see if that works and if it does - do You by any chance know if they sell it seperately ? Cheers mate ... 😎
I'm loving the SL1210 G-k.
Amazing turntables. I enjoy my japanese 1210GR for allmost 5 years now and i'm still in love with every spin of it. A real joy to use and litsen.

We add a product called Little Fwend Disco lifter which does that.

Bonjour ! Vous oubliez la meilleure platine de chez Technique, la SL 1510 MK2 que j'ai eu en ma possession !
So the limited edition one is the LEAST expensive… got it. 😂
Yes it's based on their DJ table and more of a marketing excersize.

The motors on the 1000 and 1200 are different so the platters are not interchangeable.
@SkyFiAudio 😭 ... thanks anyway
