No need to "baby" a Persimmon tree in the pot. Now in November it is good time to plant in the ground. And You will be amazed how beautiful this tree indeed it is. Will be bring satisfaction starting in the spring until You will pickup last fruit from branches. You will never regret that You plant a Persimmon Tree !
@@valdimicolchik7975 thank you for your reply. I forgot to mention that I live in zone 5A. I did get a persimmon that claim to tolerate my zone area. But with the heavy snows and the cold days we have here. I didn't want to lose it before it was able to fend for itself. The tree now is three and a half feet high. I am thinking of putting it in the ground and use a large upside down container with a break or two on top to hold it in place. I am hoping the container will provide some protection for the immature tree. What do you think ?
