I've been waiting SO SO many years to have the chance to see Kim somewhere in London. I don't go to hardly any gigs nowadays. not like the late 60s and early 70s when you could see so much good music - there is hardly anybody I want to see any more - but Kim Wilson I dream for ever of seeing over here. Peter Green is thankfully still alive, but that is about all you can say; he will never again be able to play like he did 50 years ago. So come on Kim; get over here with your fantastic crew of ace blues musicians and give us a real, real treat.
The first time i saw the T-Birds was at the release of their 1st album "Girls Go Wild" at Cactus Records & tapes in Houston, Texas on a Saturday morning in the late 70's. Kim Wilson wore shades & a Turban & I think they were all playing through Fender Champ amps setting on the floor! I believe they sold many albums that day ..radio ads & Tuff Enuff was all over the radio. Saw Stevie Ray Vaughn when he fronted an Austin band called The Cobras around that time also before he hit the Bigtme RIP..WOW !!

Saw the Tbirds original lineup at Liverpool University in 78/79 - was totally blown away and loved them ever since
