I'm glad I found you, kind of by chance, while looking for ways to get a burned up motorhome removed. I'm the older brother of the guy who died in that rv. TH-cam doesn't have the private msg. function anymore.
I first want to thank you for being so selfless in how you ran over and tried to help me with that fire and for calling in the fire. I ran with you to connect a garden hose in back, but forgot I had a damaged knee, and almost fell on my face. I remember about five minutes of sheer panic, and then calmed down when the fire department arrived, put the fire out, I could see it was hopeless, and they told me they found a body in there. I tried to find you to thank you, and to see how your hand injury was. I was worried about that and hope it heals up well.
According to the fire investigators it was faulty stranded wiring in the rv that overloaded, smoldered a while, then burst into flames. All indications are that he probably never woke up or suffered. Carbon monoxide and soot were found in his lungs. He lived an increasingly difficult life and could have gone in a worse way, I suppose. I felt a strange combination of grief and relief, but am dealing with it ok.
Thanks again, buddy, and God bless ya!

I was the person that called 911 and ran over to help. The door was locked and I couldn't pry the door off, so I used a brick to break that window you see broken on the side.
My arm went through the windows and mangled my arm all up. I couldn't get in the camper to help, the smoke was too thick and the heat was unbearable. I feel so bad that man died within feet of where I was standing. What a terrible night.

      Did you see the orb?

@@Tennessee2012 orb? Well no there was a big explosion because the propane tanks exploded after a couple mins. When I first saw the fire it looked like a small campfire.. I'm a block and a half away and I was looking through the yards. In second it went from a small flame to a fairly big fire. I woke up my girlfriend to call 911 while I ran over. Nobody even woke up and the fire was pretty out of control at that point. But it was only on one end... I can't remember if it was the back or front of the camper. But the door was nearest where the flames were most. The door was locked, the brother panicked I was telling my for tools anything to get the door off. I nearly pulled the door off but it bent. I didn't see an orb. From what I was told it was an electrical fire. I declined an ambulance and any interview and just wanted to go home, I was in shock I guess.
