I have the same cream. This current production of Ingram cream (owned by Three Pears Brand) is a disappointment in terms of lathering. However, the previous production (owned by Lornamead, with a coat of arms on the box and tube) is absolutely charming. I still have 2 and a half tubes of the Lornamead Ingram left. Like you've mentioned, they have turned into liquid over the past 8+ years, but they still lather beautifully! Have a great day!

Hi Paul great shave! This flowers in background so beautiful thanks to Mrs. Humphrey! This with the Desaster of the Shaving cream how do that make is awesome. That can always happen that is so. I remember the shaving soap from Biobaza that was a hard work 😂. But for a pre Shave not bad! Have a great week Paul!

Nice try Paul, thanks to PAA for a shave. Bad batch maybe, who knows. Gorgeous flowers Mrs H thanks. Great video and results as always. Super blade, Swedish Gillette. See ya next time, thanks.

Just tried to lather a tube I bought from Bodycare, same result. This isn't Ingram shaving soap. Squeezed a bit out of an old tube I bought from Superdrug prior to them discontinuing to sell it. It lathers like Parmolive. Bodycare need to be informed the Ingram they are selling is faulty or a poor copy.

I bought some of this at the weekend and had exactly the same result with a synthetic brush, I tried more cream, more water and applying it straight onto my face and it wouldn't lather at all. Gave up and used another soap. I'll try with a boar brush next time and if that doesn't work it can go in the bin. Update, tried to lather it again with a few other brushes and more and less water, nothing so it's heading for the bin.

Finally had my Ming shi 3000 arrive after watching you use yours.... result after a few days and different blades is that it's in the bin. Lost a layer or 2 of skin no matter the adjustment. Blade gaps looked fine but DAMN it was rough. First experiment with a Variable is a failure. Back to the Merkur 23c in a few days time, give my face some time to settle down. Have a few Qshave adjustables on their way from Chine for a lark. may work out if not, a Merkur futur or progress will be making it's way to my house in Australia. Cheers for the great videos.

I have used ‘Frozen Lemon Ice’ from Wet the Face that was soooo mentholated that when I put my helmet on to ride my Triumph to work I would have tears running down my cheeks.
I would tell people that using that stuff was like having the prettiest woman in the world slap you in the face, twice, smile, then expose herself.
Couldn’t use it everyday, but never regretted it.

The Sagrada Familia brush is always a favorite to use. I hope you have a great rest of the week. Be safe and be well. See you on Sunday for the weekend shave. All the best, Paul!

Wow!!! What a colorful and beautiful flower display! That Ingram shaving cream was a real disappointment. Shaving creams are my favorite because they are so easy to face lather. You can't go wrong with any PAA soaps when it comes to bowl lathering. And mentholated shaves are very refreshing. In the end, you had a great shave. Next stop is Hot & Spicy Saturday. Cheers!

Ive got three flare tips a 55,60 and 73. They all have different handle designs but they all basically shave the the same. The flare tip is a razor I can use everyday. In fact I have used them everyday for months on end.
As fir your shave with Ingram shaving cream. I had a similar experience with Arko shaving cream. The cream just irritated my face and gave me bumps all over. I had throw the tube away and wait a few days for the bumps to go away. I shaved again with Nivea shaving cream and it was perfect.

Beautiful flowers, Mrs H. Great video, Paul. I was a bit surprised by the result of the shaving cream because I have never had any trouble with Ingram when I use it very occasionally. I decided to check the tube and, just like ashima said in his comment, mine has the coat of arms on it. Just to make sure, I lathered some up in a bowl and had no problem whatsoever. I really don't know how manufacturers get away with using inferior products and passing them off as original. Same goes with Old Spice in a tube; it smells nothing like the original Old Spice did. Anyway, thanks for not editing it out, Paul. It means I won't be replacing my current Ingram with the new version, so you've saved me some time and money.

Bad batch that cream, or possibly it froze sometime during shipment. I dunno. Anyway, the Super Speed always gives a superb shave. One of the best razors Gillette ever made, and plenty they did. Have a good week and see you for the Sunday shave.

I enjoyed this shave, seeing how things dont go as planned sometimes. That cream may be useful as a pre shave. Beautiful flower Mrs H. My sotd was my rockwell 6c, with an all proraso red shave. Have a great week the both of you 🍺

Is it possible that it is a brushless cream? Seeing as it says lather shave cream instead of shaving cream, just a thought 💭
    Great shave overall Paul

Those razors make such a distinct sound. I'd know it in my sleep. I never have been able to use menthol on my face. It's just too harsh and unpleasant. Oh well. Fortunately, there are so many non-menthol options available that it's not a problem. Thanks for all the years of enjoyable and informational videos!

Lovely bright Reddish/Pink carnations, thanks Mrs.H. That's what happens to me a lot when I pick up what looks like a shaving cream from local Chemist, they turn out to be brushless and latherless. Take care Paul.👍🤠

The only tube of shaving cream I ever finished was a tube of Ingram. Now, I have one tube of the blue and one of the green. Too bad the tube you got wouldn't lather. I wonder why not.

Nice shave Paul and thanks for the honest review. The stark comparison between the soap and that cream says it all. Is it possible that, that particular Ingram tube is a brushless non foaming cream?

it said "lather shaving cream" so it should be able to lather with a brush. I guess they reformulated it.

    Hi Paul.
So,even though i watched your vid on how pump the ingram cream is i still went and bought some.
    Oh dear.
No matter what brush or water ratio ive used its been absolutely dire.
The original ingram which i have fond memories of was wonderful. This is just appalling.

The maker of Ingram Shaving Cream need to be informed! Not likely an "old product on the shelf too long". More likely either blending mistake or filled into the wrong packaging. Who have used the product and found bad results need to tell the company, and maybe give the remainder to them as a sample to investigate. Some viewers might be still wondering; what would the shave be like if you continued to use it for at least one pass? Would the product allow for a good wet-shave pass or more?

The menthol in that soap can't be all that strong. Your eyes aren't trying to escape from their sockets and there isn't a flood of mucus pouring from your nose. 🤣
