Hey Paul! I recently purchased that razor at store called River's Edge Cutlery in Columbus Ohio. The Ohio Wet Shavers meetup was held there this past September. The meetup was filmed by Mark Szorady's channel on his program The Monday Morning Mailbag. They have soaps, brushes, sample packs of blades, and some Parker razors!! It is so rare to find that sort of shave gear in a box store! The razor was great for me! Mine actually had one blade installed. I purchased the additional blade bank as well. I agree with you, they should include a pack of at least 2 blades with the key bank. Needless to say, in my opinion, it's worth purchasing! Thanks for the video! I can do your exact shave as this video portrays if i desired to do so! All are excellent products! Parker has excellent offerings at reasonable pricing. I wish you a great rest of your week and I will see you on Sunday! JimG
What a gorgeous and colorful floral display Mrs. H created for your midweek shave! I'm glad you didn't edit out the dull blade experience. It was very obvious that something wasn't right. With the right blade, you had an excellent shave. My SOTD was Stirling Spice (their take on Old Spice) soap and aftershave using my Rex Ambassador adjustable w/ a Personna Lab Blue (2nd use). Post-shave was the usual alum, witch hazel, and Dove Men+Care balm, followed by the aftershave. Cheers...until Hot&Spicy Saturday.
Interesting razor, I want to look into the history more. Thanks for having a blade ready with that injector. Nice shave, watching this late, lots of things going on all week. Thank you for a good shave! Hope you're enjoying the holidays. Love the mention of the early days and the rhino comment, good stuff. And YES that Thayers too, want to find that kind product for the soap.
One thing I have seen from others that use this type of injector razor like the Supply Razor, is holding it flat against the face for the best cutting angle.
Nice shave Paul🪒🪒 The flower display is beautiful and reminds one of full blown summer color, very nice considering the cold wintry season, thanks Mrs H. Thought for a moment no blade installed😊but alas it was just a bum blade. No shave today, will wait for tomorrow being Thanksgiving here. Have a great rest of the week. Enjoy!
Good morning Paul great shave, on this razor is setting 3 my thing 😊 Today I made my 98th Straight Razor shave on TH-cam and I took my beard off! The flower display from Mrs. H are so gorgeous. Interesting by me it was similar with the wet shaving Paul First I learnt shaving with DE and the same story like by you. Only I took a longer time to come back. When I think how would I shave now with 35 years experience in classic wet shaving or you Paul. Have a great one 😊
Mrs H, i loved the fall colours in the flowers today. Just lovely. And great shave. The razor has a good reputation as a good razor. And the soap is well liked too. My own sotd was my rockwell 6c with a kai blade. I used my t3 synthetic to lather sterlings orange chill. And finished with the orange chill witch hazel splash. Great shave. Have a great week 👍
Good morning or I guess afternoon now in the UK. I had an entire tuck of bad blades once. Very uncomfortable shave. I was not that it it did not cut but it felt like the blade was jagged or bent or something that caused a bad scraping feeling. I stopped as you did after a couple of strokes and went to another from the same tuck of 5. I switched to another blade brand and had a pleasant rest of the shave. I tried two more blades from the bad tuck a day later with the same result. First time I experienced an entire tuck be bad.
gorgeous flowers on display there by Mrs. H. great shaving video now there this the reason why i dont but an injector bad blade will make the cost in Denmark even higher DE blades can be honed even the blades for the Oneblade razor using propitiatory blades that i also do´t like but those can be honed as well luckily as they are not cheap stay safe....cheers....Peter
Great video and shave Paul. I purchased my Parker injector earlier this year and it came with 20 injector blades. Not a fan though. Not as smooth and efficient as my numerous DE razors even when trying other blades and settings. Beautiful flowers as always Mrs. H. Is there going to be a new Paul H Films brush in the future? Currently have the previous versions and it is something to add to my Christmas list to Santa😂. Cheers!!
Hey Paul great shave. I don't have an injector razor in my collection yet. I've looked at them before but haven't picked one up. Do you have any recommendations for my first one? I never find your videos long so don't worry about that. Take care
Great shave Paul, glad you left the bit with the dud blade in! These things can happen in the real world!

I might have to try one of these injector razors
Nice shave Paul
Glad you did not persist with that dull blade. When able, could you do a comparative shave between a se and a de razor.
Good morning Paul, beautiful flowers by MrsH as always, enjoy your day my friends all the best👍🏻

When ya get a dud blade any razor can go wrong. Schick can go sick.😮 The best 👌
Good morning Paul. That first blade may have been manufactured wrong or oxidized (stainless doesn't mean stainproof)
Can’t seem to buy this razor at the minute in the UK.

I have this one razor but just don't like the results......not close enough. Schick are way, way better
Schick is pronounced like sick( just trying to be helpful, not critical)
I bought that razor, worst purchase ever, it's like shaving with a teaspoon and I consigned it to the back of the shelf.
