in the states we call those Lobster or Spiny Lobster. We run a blade around under the carapace and then use an antennae to remove the sand vein. Easier than twist and pull,.. then we toss the heads in for the crabs.

Interested to know what changes you would make to your lifestyle after listening to the David Attenborough doco?After calculating my carbon footprint I realised how polluting a vehicle is (especially diesel) so decided to no longer do any long 4wd trips in my army Landrover and just do shorter local trips until I convert it to Electric.
Great vlog, Attenborough was about to say have smaller children before the message was lost. A new rig? 4wd van or bus to take more clients on enviro adventures. PS if the fish is less tasty just make sweet and sour fish
Trevally is suppose to be ok but doesn't freeze well. Try to eat things like trevally and queen fish fresh and freeze red fish. Enjoying your videos 😊😊

When you break the cray send an antler up the poo tube. And twist it will remove the tube cleanly and completely.
