Love these videos of all the waterfalls...thank you so much...we"re spending a few days in a nice cabin down here in April of 2022....can't wait to explore....THANKS SHAWN!!....you did great buddy, now go take care of those legs lol..
It is one of my favorite videos so far, too! :D Are there any other areas you'd like me to feature? I think maybe I need to start hunting waterfalls more often!
Have you been to Millstone Bluff? Someone posted pictures of the petroglyphs there in the FB group along the same vein would be to do Buffalo on the Rock. Do an ancient art special! 😍
Millstone Bluff was my last hike and video of 2017 :D It is up to in case you want to watch it =) Great place to visit again and again. Piney Creek Ravine is another good spot for petroglyphs, in fact, it has more of them than any other area in the state.
Ancient, pay yourself on the back for this one as well. You said cave in the live chat and that motivated me to really go off and explore! Thanks buddy :D
I agree. I'm going to try to do two a month at home. But when I am out hiking, it isn't always as easy because signal isn't always available. But when it is, I'll probably go live :D
Bulge Hole is the large shelter with the two waterfalls at the north end of the valley. Did you make it all the way to the cow pasture at the south end? I really want to check out the bluffage and shelters on the other side of the cow pasture. I have to watch part one to see what all you saw in that video. I was told about Bulge Hole years ago by two brothers, that I met on tunnel hill trail, that grew up in the area and they were describing it and the old jeep trail they took to get to it in the 50's when they were teens but neither could tell me how to get there. When I finally visited bulge hole about 5 years later I knew I had found the spot they described to me. Next you need to visit Schwegman EA east of Bulge Hole, Amazing shelter, historical drawings, a falling spring(flows out of a shelf in the shelter), groundhog den arch ( you enter the valley by going in the short opening of a an arch and walk out the large opening) several waterfalls but all bushwhacking. If you need more details on parking and locations just let me know.
Across the valley from the first waterfall you came to and further south there is side valley that leads west to another nice waterfall with a boulder filled shelter.
Those falls (plural) are like the perfect height for an outdoor shower haha. Get a lot of rain before you hit up that area? That fog was kind of creepy in areas lol. Have a great week sir - Shane
Tell me, did you find the place 'amazing'?.....Just kidding, it was a stunning area and I'd be going back for sure, can't not know what'a around the next corner :)
It was amazing for sure! The first waterfall where I did my livestream at was all that I expected, then I started bushwhacking and there was falls, big and small, around every corner :D
YES PLEASE DO COME BACK AND EXPLORE MORE

Thanks for watching ❤️
Wow, that waterfall shot at 9:00 from under the shelter, with the background fading into the fog would make a great tourism or calendar photo...
I hope I can make it back there this year when we have that much water. I keep waiting for that day :D
😮😮Shawn, was that detergent? That's such an enormous awesome waterfall!
Nah. Just made from the water I think.
Very cool part two Shawn! Thanks fer the wet feet!! ZZ.
I think of you every time I get wet feet, ZZ! But now I got me some fancy waterproof socks. I hope the internet is treating you better?
