I'm loving the fact that Dave is bringing back the old school lore that George himself established in the OG Trilogy. Like the fact that everyone is open to the Force and can be a Jedi, but it take a huge amount of Training and Discipline to master it. And also the different style of sword fighting. Which you can read about it in "The Star Wars Archives. 1977-1983" by "Paul Duncan".
Huyang was hilarious in this episode. 😂😂 So hyped for next week! Great reaction guys!

Sam Witwer is credited in Ashoka credits under additional voices. Dave Filioni previously shared an interest in bringing Starkiller into Rebels. An apprentice of Vader to face Anakin Skywalker’s apprentice Ahsoka would have some nice parallels.
This reaction vid was SO refreshing. Opinions and nitpicks can be tiresome, but y’all seem to focus on enjoying and seeing beneath the surface. Like Ahsoka said. See with more than just your eyes. Like y’all said, “ya gotta feel it.”

Sabine knows how to fix machines like a Jedi, she knows how to maneuver the ship to make a kill like a Jedi. She knows how to solve puzzles like a Jedi. Now to get it all together.
I'm sure she'll just end up using her mando training combined with the jedi forms like she did in rebels. We still haven't seen her use her whole gear, hence she won't be a traditional force sensitive force user, she'll just be a mando with jedi training is what I think will happen.
Nah I think they've way to heavily implied her force abilities at this point. They've flat out said she is force sensitive, she just never had to use it before. I think Huyangs line about there not being many Mando Jedi is important, because the twos teachings are so polar opposite that few have been able to find a way to make the two merge. I think Sabine just has some kind of mental block keeping her from accessing the force that we'll see her over come in the last episode in the fight we saw in the trailer. @@chanahasnomana

😂😂😂 Sabine and Huyang had me dying in this episode
Even though it was only 30-plus minutes, this episode packed a lot of heat.
It was great seeing development with Sabine as a potential Force user, the sequence involving Hera and the Senate being tense (nice seeing Jacen Syndulla for the first time) and that space battle looked quite cool.
Obviously, I wish there was more runtime, but, alas, beggars can't be choosers.
Excited for next week's episode!
Quick note: It's a little fallacy that many people trip on that Luke advanced 'quickly'. Even without the 'Legends' cannon stories, it was 3 years between the ANH and TESB. It's supposed to be assumed that Luke worked as he could on learning, despite it not being under direct training. There was also another year or so between the end of TESB and RoTJ.
I really love how Filoni is bringing a sense of drama, and, mysticism back to the Jedi, instead of that "midichlorians" BS.

I absolutely loved the episode! The Samurai training element and the space battle stuck out in particular. Loved the cinematography during that battle as well. It really felt like motion controlled cameras moving around models, which really gave the excact same look and feel as the climax of A New Hope. Kinda weird though, that they act as if Sabine never really fought or sat behind a turret before. We know from Rebels that she has plenty of skills and experience. Luke Skywalker she is not! The Sabine I know would not be surprised that she got an enemy ship.
This was a great episode, shame it was so short.
For what it’s worth, Marrok is 100% voiced by Sam Witwer in this ep, even though only the stunt actor (wearing the suit) is credited in this ep. Compare his voice to General Kael’s voice in the Willow show, it’s nearly identical…just slightly more digitally manipulated.
Sam is credited in additional voices and it sounds exactly like starkiller does in his suit

Solid 9 out of 10 I like the new things they showed in this episode live action space walk battle.. The training your spot on about talking about her force abilities and all that... Only issue the episode was too short.. About what an animated show would be... Would be nice if we got 12 episodes of Ahsoka.. Because it's gonna be a long wait if there's a season two.. Another cool thing if you notice of light saber in space they got it down perfect you didn't see any fizzling when she Turned them on you just saw white light from them... I noticed that detail just like it would do in real life with no atmosphere...
Ashoka was using the old "Jedi mind trick" on Sabine when she asked her where she was standing. This was to make Sabine aware of how vulnerable she is to a force user. I believe that Ashoka cares deeply for Sabine and knows that she would not stand a chance against a trained, force sensitive enemy. Her concern is increased because she knows Sabine has the reckless lack of fear that Mandalorians are known for.

Sabine is trying, but she's no Arya Stark, not yet. Although Arya was getting battered in the beginning too.
Even though this episode was shorter I still loved it it reminded me of a live action episode of Rebels and I think it's clear that Sabine is force sensitive she just needs to calm her mind which we all know that's not Sabine's style
I think they will try to use this Jacen to incorporate some of the Jacen Solo stuff from legends EU

We can’t ignore the HK droids sounding like kylo rens mask vocalisation. If it’s not Ben solo it could be a knight of ren. Or it could even be a clone rey. I think it’s more plausible to have ahsoka be faced with the decision to stay in this galaxy if she were to sense skywalker/Palpatine in marrok. Or to help Sabine go find Ezra and thrawn. I think it’s more likely to be Ben, rey or even Cal over ezra. Not to say it’s very plausible that it is Ezra in there. I just think if he was to turn it would’ve been when palps showed him his parents
This is nine years after the battle of Yavin and very early after the battle of Endor. Ben's probably a toddler at this time, and the same with Rey. Neither are important yet. Ezra is a galaxy away with Thrawn. Last time I checked, the Chimera is just a standard ISD, not capable of inter-galactic travel. Cal Kestis... not likely. Filoni won't want to step on the fate of the Respawn Jedi series. It's either Starkiller or just a dude named Marrok.

I absolutely loved the premiere episodes of Ahsoka that said episode 3, part3, by far was the best episode!! Loved the Jedi training and the Luke Skywalker easer egg. Only thing missing was a flashback with Anakin and Ahsoka’s Jedi training. I hope his showing in the trailers wasn’t just a reference. Seeing the massive purgill’s up close was awesome! i think that mysterious inquisitor is barriss offee. if im mistaken then barriss will definitly show up. maybe as an inquisitor guarding thrawn....but she will show up at some point
If she was an inquisitor guarding Thrawn, we would have seen her at the battle of Lothal. The Eye of Sion is the first major attempt at reaching Thrawn's position, as it would have taken years to construct the ship, plus they needed 9 SSD hyperdrives. Morgan couldn't exactly just pull those out of active Executor-class vessels. She picked this up recently after the Empire was 'disbanded'

So Sabine is getting the hang of the Jedi combat precognition however still can't do telekinetic feats. But as Ahsoka said training is more important than innate talent.
