-Honestly, I've never thought of Vaxei as some godlike player that will break the pp barrier or set insane scores. To me, Vaxei has always been the best tournament player for team USA. He can play every map, and he will beat you in a tournament match.
-It was up until recently when he FC tsukinami, yomi yori, almost FC killy killy joker, cycle hit, pretender that I suddenly realized this guy had been holding back for years.

I think there is a lot of unnecessary pressure on Vaxei. He hasn't played in months, so it's understandable if his game isn't quite where it used to be, yet everyone is expecting him to immediately challenge whitecat or something. Even if he wanted to play a couple games here and there, the pressure to live up to the expectations is hard to overcome.

I'll just say this. The popularity of an anime doesn't dictate the "basicness" of said waifu. Quint was also very much mainstream when it was airing, especially in Japan. (More so than Uzaki and at a time , One piece). Quint is one of the highest selling Manga of 2020 and the talk for "best-girl" was very much a heated debate.
Miku is also the most popular out of the 5 with the western audience (that haven't read the manga obviously). Meaning by your logic, (since it's mainstream) would make it basic.
As the manga serialised, she lost a lot of popularity as the other sister's characterisation would develop. Essentially people realised she was basic bait and her as well as Ichika's characters weren't fully development and left behind. They were a plot driven red-herring for the MC as the manga was nearing it's end.
For the Japenese audience, it is collectively agreed that Miku is the most bland character sister of the bunch with the least character development. Very much akin to Onodera in Nisekoi when that was airing. (Surprisingly enough Onodera was also a fan-favourite with the western audience).

So do people memorize each of these songs/ levels over time or are the actions randomized? I'm assuming because of how fast it is that they're the same every time but I've never played before.
It's the same layout for each level but when you play it it's not like geometry dash where you need to memorize it you can just play and first try a song but sometimes the song takes multiple attempts because of randomly missing or you just mess up normally you know?
@@jaydel2288 you don't need to memorize in GD either, but instead of randomly missing you randomly die, so for harder it is a lot of muscle memory but for most levels you don't need memory, expect for you know, memory levels lmao
Destiny most of demon+ levels require some memorisation tho
@@chiffaonosu yes some memory is helpful and in a lot of levels there are just straight up memory parts. def more memory required than osu but the way JaydeL 2 worded it seemed more like " you have to memorize most of the level to beat it" which isn't true for levels except for memory based ones. Also it depends how good you are, for some players easy demons or even medium demons that don't have memory parts can be completed in like 5 att or less while some can take hundreds bc the transitions.

No, in rhythm games how well you can play a song is based on your reading; which basically means how well you can comprehend the notes and patterns that appear on screen and knowing when to aim and click them. You naturally develop your reading as you play over time but top players usually play high AR, DT mod, and high BPM maps that make notes appear quickly on screen so they are used to it.
