Well worth the 23 minute lesson time investment! Trust me, I have been doing this for over 25 years.
Top tips on how to play Harmonica and Guitar at the same time. This is the foundation you need!
Heart of Gold Neil Young, Dirty old town The Pogues, The Blues, Braces, Racks, Harmonicas, Humour, Rhythm, Keys. A lifetime of advice and thoughts. How to play rack harmonica, Bob Dylan Style, Neil Young Style, Blues. Harmonica in a neck brace, harmonica and guitar at the same time / together.. - เพลง
Mate I've been fiddling around playing guitar and harmonica for over 20 years studying paid online harmonica lessons, watching and listening to other people do the same and never once did the penny drop fully until watching this vid.
Thank you and well done for the awakening.
It would be great to see more .......hint hint.
Thanks for your kind words Sean, I'm so glad it helped you out... ok next vid...th-cam.com/video/eel-lGfoQzs/w-d-xo.html
Agreed
Harmonica holder.. In Germany we call that "dylanrahmen" which would be translated as "Dylan frame"
Cool! or even a Li'lchuckrahmen right? Li'l Chuck frame :)
I started off thinking: This is good for someone starting out with either or both instruments, but could be a waste of time if you already play guitar and harp and just want to put them together. But as it reached the end, I think I actually did pick some tips up that were worth the 23 minutes!! :-)
Thanks Dave, I aim just to pass on some tips that have helped me over the years... always happy to assist. :) Here is one of my recent videos with a bit more harp / guitar....th-cam.com/video/DKbR1BD-aOE/w-d-xo.html

I've been a musician my whole life, and paid for a good portion of it. If you want to be comfortable on stage practice until it is 2nd nature. Internalization is absolutely key.
that's it man, you gotta lock it in there. :)
@@lilchucktheonemanskifflema2214 and is one part of it we actually have some control over. Rock on.

You brought structure that was void in my learning. Thank you. Your presentation simplified my frustration. Now I have a direction to practice, specifically with regard to the metronome. Lil Chuck great job! Your attitude, direction, technique of learning is not so little- it’s HUGE. Best unpretentious, factual, ordinary, loose music playing video I’ve seen. All your breakdowns, tips on melody, rhythm & timing are right on. Two other suggestions I first learned: Stones Midnight Rambler & The Doors Roadhouse Blues. Love The Pogues, pour a pint & play!
Thanks for your good vibes and kind words :)

Oh Lil' Chuck, never mind heart of gold, I think I've struck gold with your vids. THANK YOU, I'm 75, used to be a pro. session drummer, heart attack meant I had to give that up, still got my sense of rhythm, took up guitar to play rhythm, (and not so physical!) so I understand chords (Nashville No system etc) I want to add harmonica, to break up the verse/chorus/verse thing, and to play with my chums at local pub sessions. Most You- Tubes only want to do blues/chugging/single note accuracy/bending/ etc I just want to
blow-draw over chords like your Dylan/Young etc You have opened the door ! I'll be back 🙂 thank you
Thanks Paul, good luck with your journey! I'm available for online tuition too :) Cheers!
Cool stuff and really helpful
Thanks Richard, i am glad I could help you out :)
Helps so much man!
Cheers DT :) keep Rockin' new album out now! davidthorpeharmonica.bandcamp.com/releases
Thanks for the great lessons! 25 year harp guy for fun and church, just got interested in putting a guitar with it. Never played guitar but looks like some basic chording could go a long way with the harp. Thanks again, Reggie
Cool, I'm glad I could help you out! You'll do great :) new single released last week... th-cam.com/video/FWWMPw3TNfc/w-d-xo.html
love the laid back way you teach , not tried it yet myself but i do get the sense of dedication needed in order to crack this and it sounds like a hole lot of fun to , so i going to look to get me a G harp and frame ile be back , thanks a bunch for your lesson .
Cheers Peter, yep, give it a shot... it does take a bit of time, patience and dedication but it's certainly nothing more than that.... if you give it the above, you'll be on the road in no time. I'm also available for online lessons worldwide via here www.backyardmusic.co.nz/
Thank !!!
I'm going to attempt harmonica and autoharp together to upgrade my busking performance. Cheers, this helps a bit.
