Everyone keeps commenting that these Sporked videos need better production value but I think they are perfect as is. There is a very engaging charm to them that I think stands out from most youtube videos these days. No music, no fancy cameras, no graphics. What the viewer is left with is just a simple video filled with strong opinions and personality and that seems so fascinating to me. Lovely!
Finally! Someone who loves that grainy texture too! So many people I’ve talked to despise it haha. Also the sound of the sugar bits is so satisfying to me. LOVE these long videos, can’t get enough these❤
I have a cookbook called The Cookie Dough cookbook. It has recipes to make homemade edible cookie dough. The only thing I made from the book so far is cookie dough brownies.
You can pasteurize eggs to make them safe to eat raw. My understanding is the real danger in most cases with raw cookie dough is the raw flour, so they have have to heat treat the flour essentially.
Yes! It's the raw flour that is a greater worry (especially since most people think its only the eggs that they have to worry about). The flour can harbor salmonella and e. coli most commonly. It's also pretty easy to make egg free cookie dough and literally impossible to make flour free cookie dough haha. But it's easy to heat treat flour even at home!
I really like these taste test videos, but this channel needs higher production instead of computer webcams. Lets get them a set with professional cameras to use. These ladies DESERVE it.
The redeeming quality of the Tollhouse pint of choc chip cookie dough is that it uses mini chocolate chips. I don't like chonking through full-size, cold choc chips in most other products. The mini ones are much easier to eat and have a more satisfying texture!
We always ate raw cookie dough I did know it wasn’t safe lol😅but I never ate a lot just a little bit! I just love watching you taste things! And your dry humor😂
I don't like the "cooked flour" taste of the edible cookie dough, uncooked flour is actually the bigger risk to raw dough than the eggs because most eggs are pasteurized these days, and I think that's why real cookie dough tastes better...
That lipstick staying power! Also I really like the B&J peanut butter cookie dough mix and I keep it in the freezer. It doesn't get hard! It's still very chewable! It does stick together a little but i whack it a little and they come apart easier lol
Didn't even know there were so many edible cookie dough options! Bake or eat options are genius. Totally agree about the raw dough flavor. I was always told the not eating it was about the flour not the egg. eek, searching says it's both, oh well. a gamble i'll gladly take. lol
Excellent video and yes all store bought cookie dough that contains eggs use pasteurized liquid eggs and they are safe to eat raw. These are often used in restaurants to make fast omlets and scrambled eggs.
3:02 you should try baking some.. I’m curious to hear what you think about? Also… I love grainy dough as well!! That’s the first thing I was curious about. I’m glad you were awareof its importance.
Pasteurized eggs are fairly common in grocery store cookie doughs. That's how Ben and Jerry's can use "raw" egg with zero risk. The risk from eating unpasturized raw egg used to be really low for healthy people. But food handling laws, etc may have changed. Technically, a soft-poached egg isn't entirely cooked.
Egg products (eggs removed from shells for food industry/products like mayo, etc.) are all pasteurized in the US, so I assume that these companies are not cracking individual eggs to make these products, but are just dumping liquid egg into the mix. So those types of eggs are safe to eat raw.
Really enjoy the reviews you all are putting out. I've tried baking edible cookie dough (I believe it was 'The Cookie Dough Cafe' brand). and goodness it did not turn out well 🤣
Please don't tell people all cookie dough is edible (although I've never been able to stay out of batter or dough when I'm baking.) If you want to make an edible cookie dough, you need to use pasteurized eggs and zap the flour in the microwave or oven, and heat it to 160 degrees. If it is strictly for eating raw, you can skip the eggs entirely, and it's still really good.
I'd like Sporked to do a taste test ranking on chocolate Oreo products with tasters who think ordinary classic chocolate Oreos are among the worst snacks available anywhere, maybe who never eat the uncreamed side of an untwisted Oreo. Because Oreos really suck. I can't trust reviews from tasters who tolerate that crappy taste.
@@amylorraine236it’s both. Eggs can be contaminated with E. coli, salmonella, staph, and all kinds of other microbes. The flour can contain many of the same. As to which is more likely to be contaminated, I’m sure that varies depending on your location and all kinds of other variants.
In the US it's pretty common for people to eat raw or undercooked eggs safely because of pasteurization. The issue with raw cookie dough tends to be raw flour. Raw flour can harbor bacteria, e. coli, and salmonella, so in order to make cookie dough edible for like say ice cream, they heat treat the flour. You can make edible cookie dough using a regular cookie recipe by heat treating your flour at home.
Same lol I think people are just overly cautious for some reason. I grew up eating raw cookie dough and licking the batter off the spoon after making cakes and brownies. I let my kids do it too. We are all still fine and so is my mom who raised me that way and did the same lol
You said let you know if cookie Cafe is a place. Cookie Cafe is not a place you can go to. Two sisters own the company. The sisters appeared on Shark Tank with their product. I read the reply below. Would love to know how these cookies turned out after they were baked. The article i read said they are meant to baked. Just curious how the cookies were when baked. Love what you guys do.
I’m the only one offended by the fact that she keeps throwing the half bitten pieces back in the package. I know they share food all the time, but like really. Although these all look really good.
One of the reasons I feel like being in texas is a punishment is that I cannot find those Ben& Jerry’s cookie bites anywhere. I am in houston-the 4th greatest city in the nation, but the buyers here have bad taste, low standards, and absolutely no imagination.👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻

Only the sound needs work, the episode filmed in the podcast studio has beautiful audio.
Can we give Sporked a studio?? I would literally watch these taste tests with multiple people
Finally! Someone who loves that grainy texture too! So many people I’ve talked to despise it haha. Also the sound of the sugar bits is so satisfying to me. LOVE these long videos, can’t get enough these❤
Also all three of you need a full on official review video series together cause the snack review was amazing ❤

Please more of these long form videos! They’re so relaxing
I love the white noise and no music. I’d listen to this to fall asleep.
I frigging LOVE Sporked, more full-length videos please! I can appropriately manage my time between GMM and Sporked 😆🎉😉.
Hahaha yeees, I love the sporked team, I would 100% look on how to manage my time to support gmm and sporked 😂😂😂
The struggle of getting an excited reaction from the room was so funny 😂😂

Was just thinking this!!
I weirdly enjoy how simple it is🤣 feels more real and less commercially
Finally… THANK YOU. I need a Raos/ or just sketti sauce taste test next ❤

Unbaked cookie dough is better than edible cookie dough! Also, you’re my favorite sporked person! Live the way you break things down!

She definitely gives me cool aunt vibes!

The bangs are banging❤❤
Get your hands on some Hungryroot cookie and brownie dough. “Healthy” in that they use chickpeas in it. Can bake or eat raw. Amazing.

Maybe oreos just aren't for you
This is so timely as I just watched Link's naked foods and the guys also had the same reaction to Deux lol
Sweet Loren’s is AMAZING. There’s a less sugar one, too. Try them!
Just what I needed right now 💓
This is the most important taste test ever made.
Without watching it, the best I’ve tried are the Ben and jerrys
I’m so willing to accept the risk of eating cookie dough raw…
Cookie Dough Cafe is a real place! In Portland OR! It’s like an ice cream shop but for cookie dough 😍
omg filipino spaghetti sauce in the background!!
I like these on reaction reviews a lot :)
“Like a pervert” 😂😂😂
Assuming it's the same thing there's a Cookie Dough Cafe in Portland, OR. Looks like it was on Shark Tank last year.
The eggs are pasteurized, and therefore safe.🤗
It’s the uncooked flour not eggs that can make you sick!

They also heat treat the flour to kill off any contaminants such as salmonella.
I'd definitely like to see a video of what these doughs look like after being baked
Cookie Dough Cafe is based in Portland, they have a storefront
They use special pasteurized eggs or something in the “edible” cookie doughs. Not all eggs are safe to eat raw, so not all cookie dough is safe!

Aggressively opening packages...Metal ASMR
Cheryl’s Cookies makes edible cookie dough both if my sons said it’s fire.
But why are you filming in the break room?
Would you guys ever do a taste test of water powder drink mixes?
We have! It's on sporked.com!
The reason B&J's are edible when they have eggs in them is because they use pasteurized eggs
I think the eggs might be why ben n jerrys wants you to keep it frozen.
Gwynedd is my fav!
I eat raw cookie dough and also like the batter off the spoon when making brownies or cake. Never been sick
Taste test of all flamin hot foods and snacks
Not the Shen Yun ad in the background...
Thanks G!!
Gwynedd is my fav 😊
You did a whole raw cookie dough taste test and didn't try any of the sweet loren's line?!?! Do over. :)
sometimes premade cookie dough has a weird almost metallic taste..?
I want this so bad but I'm pretty sure I can't get it in Australia
She takes little mice bites
Well now I need cookie dough and baked cookies (bakies?)
I love watching people live my dream job haha. But I could never actually do this job because I'd be so fat haha.
I wonder how I got to 68 with all the unsafe to eat raw cookie dough I've eaten over the years.
Me too!!
Same lol I think people are just overly cautious for some reason. I grew up eating raw cookie dough and licking the batter off the spoon after making cakes and brownies. I let my kids do it too. We are all still fine and so is my mom who raised me that way and did the same lol
I love a Gwynedd solo video
I also love skwad

Ben & Jerry’s is always superior
i was upset every time you threw a half eaten cookie blob back into the container. do you also drink milk from the jug?
i saw her on a gameshow today, crazy
Gwynedd loves game shows!!!!
I love eating raw pastry 😅
Thos is another one of those USA conditioned things... raw eggs aren't as much of a Pho-pa in other countries
I do get where you're coming from but... For me, cookie dough should be fresh from the bowl or not at all. ENJOY
Listen, if you have the time to always make fresh cookie dough, we LOVE that.
Am I the only one who is wondering what they are doing with the sweet Filipino stylt spaghetti sauce?
2 tablespoons… it might be over
I bought that nestle one a few years ago and it was disgusting.I threw it away.Do not recommend
All cookie dough is edible...
All cookie dough is edible
lol they use eggs that can be eaten raw thats why

I've only seen them at target near me
😊❤
Isn't _all_ cookie dough edible? Some just need cooking.
Just wondering… does anyone actually know anyone who gif sick from eating raw dough? I mean not because they ate too much… cuz I don’t…
Nope. My mom never got sick, I've never been sick, and my kids have never been sick. Not sure why people act like raw cookie dough is some sin lol
If you are going to cook the dough or share with others why are you putting your garbage bites back in the bags and sealing them?
These are pretty poor quality for mythical. Doing sporked dirty.
I will never understand teeny bites
what is this :0
Very self explanatory.
What do you mean?
Really disgusting that you throw the half eaten bites back into the container and reseal them…. Wasteful???
We cooked all of the cookie dough and ate the cookies ❤
Your judgement is weird and disgusting
@@chichigames4589 Just a microbiologist and infectious disease expert…
@@sporked Which dough made the best cookies? I always heard that the mini bites for ice cream doesn't bake well.
