@@PhilosophicalFireBurning-km3sm thank you! That sounds great. I haven’t made time to visit the Copperbelt on this trip but I have videos of Livingstone, Victoria Falls and safaris to come 😊
By the way, today is a significant day for Zambia as we're sending off one of our greatest musicians. The ceremony is happening at Showgrounds, and it's along the road you're exploring. If you have time, I highly recommend visiting the event-you’ll get to see how Zambians celebrate and honor their icons. There will be many musicians, government officials, and citizens coming together. It’s going to be an unforgettable experience!"
Ah if I was still there I would have absolutely come along to that! Thanks so much for the recommendation - I absolutely loved my time in Lusaka but moved on to Zimbabwe, Livingstone and Botswana - all to come.
Welcome to zambia (from cold and rainy Kent 😂 wishing I was there)hope you have a good stay apart from the brown rain 😂😂. It gets us all in the first couple of days. Thanks for visiting us. All the best in your travels.
@@mwakaroselungu999 I used to live in Kent! Thanks for the kind welcome - I really appreciate it. My time in Zambia has been amazing - really enjoyed it. I visit Livingstone etc later in this series 😊
@ Looking forward to seeing more of your travels. Clive from Bush boys tours will give you a good tour of Livingstone. Just watched him on another channel. Stay safe and enjoy yourself.
Thanks mate for your video. I can tell that you were there basically the same time that I was in Lusaka, even though I never saw you. As for the heat, you need to come to Melbourne because 36 degrees here would be very hot with too much humidity & no sweating. I hate seeing the rubbish on the natural strips caused by street vendors but since street vending has generally been outlawed, the streets should start to look much cleaner later. And yes, it’s safe to walk on Zambian streets
Really appreciate your comment - thank you! 36 degrees with humidity would be tough for sure but Zambia was great. I particularly enjoyed visiting Livingstone which is coming up soon
@@GlobeTrotColin1You’re welcome & I agree. I missed out on going to Livingstone, which I really wanted to visit because I had run out of days on the Copperbelt trying to renew my passport. Looking forward to seeing you content from Livingstone

Thank you for your kind welcome 🙏 I will indeed be back in Zambia sometime. I love the country, the people and the wildlife 😊 Hope you enjoyed Lusaka too!
Hi Colin Welcome to Zambia. If you would like to see the Zambezi river we have a lodge in Luangwa (not far from Feira which is on the Mozambique/ Zimbabwean/ Zambian border) as well as boats and accomadation. You are welcome to see the river as our guest. Cheers Mate. Just reply if interested. This is the lodge: th-cam.com/video/GFJiE1gmH2M/w-d-xo.html&ab_channel=WilliamOldnall
Also the power outages are only this year due to a drought and Zambia's power supply coming from hydroelectric. Usually we do not have any power outages and it will not be an issue once we recover from the drought.
