Luggage is allowed in train and bus legally. You should complaint in their department head against conductor and railway people by record the incidents .
I carried my cycle through Mumbai Local through luggage compartment but only early in morning before 6 am. No need to take different ticket for cycle as you can carry 35 kgs on a normal journey ticket (although i am not sure about this as early in the morning there is no TC to check)
Mujhe to kisi ne nhi roka ,,,meri PPOF ko , na train m na bus m,,, aur agar bag mai le jane m to kisi ko pta bhi nhi lgta,,,,ese to log gad silendar bhi le jaate hai,,,,jo bilkul allow nhi hai,,,,,par jitna esay lgta hai utna hota nhi hai,,,,par jab doosri jagah usko unfold karke chalakr apne gantavy sthan par jaate hai to bahut mja aata hai ,,,na bus ka lfada na auto ka,
The train employees have no idea how to process your request. I usually just disassemble it and carry the bare frame in my hand. If you ride Mumbai local regularly, you can just transport frame one day and tyres the other day.
That means there is no advantage in buying a folding bike except if one travels in own SUV and carries the bike to holiday destinations. But then one can use dedicated cycle carrier which are fixed to vehicle rear door! 😀
एक आम cyclists की जाणकारी के लिये आपने जो efforts लिये उसके लिये आपका धन्यवाद!
11:24 The bus stop has decathlon cycle Ad. How ironic 😂
Bro I carried this cycle with me in general coach from Mumbai to Goa .it's not easy but somehow I managed
Did you buy a ticket for it? How did you explain it to TC?
Nice one like always! my friends often take bicycles on Lonavla local (Non folding ones) basically they ride from Pune to Lonavla and return by local.

Thanks Maddy, for this and all other super useful videos. A quick question: which is the best folding e-bike in your opinion? TIA

If I put the whole cycle excluding the sadle and rod in a large carry bag, is possible to bring it with me is passengers coach?
Informative video and harsh realities for 🚴 I suppose they are allowing in metros atleast for now!
They do in newer metro lines in Mumbai
Sir ,which camera you are using ?
What is the brand of the bike used?
In Bangalore metro we have option to carry foldable cycles in metro trains
Folding bicycle (not electric) would be more comfortable for public transport….. what are your thoughts ?
Electric or not, it takes the same space. I have a BTWIN Tilt 120 and its the same so it doesn't matter
Nice investigation 👌😁
You should tweet this to Railway ministry and PMPML head (IAS Post). Sooner later this is goung to happen, it's already happening in UK USA etc.
