It was a beautiful day ❤. We know Ulrome beach and Seaside Caravan Park really well. It's heartbreaking how much is being lost to the sea. It was very slow years ago until the council took down the concrete pier 😢. Since then erosion has quickly destroyed the coastline. The cliffs and beach always look like that in the winter but the sand builds up quite high in the summer . The steps are dug out each spring . Thank you for showing this ❤
Looks like many caravans have been moved back. Good to see few are close to the edge now. Gorgeous sunrise. You hardly had any beach to walk on when you arrived but significantly more as you were leaving. What a rugged coast line here. Amazing patterns with the waves and shingle. I look forward to seeing more thanks 🙏
At the beginning there is some wonderful footage of a beautiful sunrise, golden and peach coloured reflections on the wet sand , and white foamy waves washing in and out, just stunning. Then the camera turns round in the opposite direction …😬 Music is awesome 🤩 thank you for sharing Davey and the Wing Commander, much appreciated 😊👍
Thank you, it was definitely a morning of two halves...beauty and chaos. I tried out a new piece of music which I recorded on Monday, delighted you enjoyed it. 😊
1st thankyou both for this ...Its surprising what the old field drainage can still put out .. Again we is coming up for a storm this w/e coming ..Keep that drone charged an ready..
I’ve finally got round to seeing this and was it worth waiting for of cause it was.Theres a lot of cliff gone since you last was there and them bungalows are looking more and more precarious. Great video yet again Davey can’t wait for the next instalment 👏👏👏👍
Wonderful sunrise and fantastic music as always. It left me wondering about the rubbish in some of the gardens lets hope its cleared up before that ends up in the sea too. Somehow I doubt it.....
Another excellent presentation. Timothy manages to condense an entire geo fieldtrip into a little over twenty minutes while providing a land and beach context. Extremely useful. The well depicted cross-beach shingle cusps, or 'fingers', [6:14] are indeed fascinating as they represent an example of inanimate self-organisation. A precise explanation for the initial formation of these horn-and-bay features yet awaits. That fire [dying embers at 7:37] when next door a cluster of gas bottles - hmm. Upper cliff deposits of coarse sand and gravel [8:50 and 15:21] are symptomatic of a retreat phase of glacial ice. The strip of beach you are walking on is another sand salient (identified as SSB-22). Notice how it tapers in the distance, to the south, the tide still reaching the cliff. And, yes, I too have done the trip [5:42], though not recorded.
not been there for years well over 40 years % but it`s always happened but not like now just seen on here the pill box has just gone into the sea its sad to see it
@@timothystravels8492 So true. They take in a lot of detail while waiting for the pull on the line sometimes without knowing the potential value of it.

We planned to get there an hour or so past high tide so we knew we'd be safe.
It still didn't leave a lot of room for manoeuvre 😆
@@timothystravels8492glad you are organised
@@sheilabutton That's why I have a wing commander 😅

I like keeping in touch with fishermen, they are most useful with their local knowledge 😉
