Why do people have to hate one or the other? I love both but experience much hate against digital today. The problem with digital synth was the interface! But today you can send CC# codes to a digital synth. My iPad has tons of digital synths that have a nice interface. It's also woowoo to declare analog as being more 'authentic' esp. the obsolete vinyl audio albums. Why the heck do people use this objctivly less dynamic and noise prone method of music conservation? wav and mp3 are obviously much better.
That's what I love about modular - it can be pure analog if you want it to be or you can incorporate as much digital equipment as you want. And you could make snap decisions about this day-to-day, hour-to-hour.

They are the same sorts of people who turn comments sections into arguments about race or politics. They are the unevolved, the ones who need to hate because they blindly fear the alternative. They are the reason we still have wars. Personally, I prefer the extremes. I use everything from Soft Synths... all the way to hunks of Wood√
