    Awesome point about why Monat "leaders" only chat with each other for questions about ingredients hahaha, Monat is such a joke. I'd forgotten how there was a separate customer service phone number for people further up the pyramid scheme. Your content is so well researched, you explain the convuluted nonsense to actually make it make sense - your channel should have WAY more subs and it'll happen!! Your content is so good!!

      Legit, their excuse for the labelling was that Monat has a "sustainability mindset" and had all these empty bottles that needed to be used up. Imagine this big f**ing warehouse just filled to the rafters with 2 years worth of empty bottles! It should be a tourist attraction! Lol.
      It's quite clear that they had excess stock and ingredients, and they offloaded it into markets where it was legal to do so (lillial isn't banned in Australia). A local rep said the smell of the product just recently changed, and now - miraculously - Monat will start putting a sticker over top of the old ingredients.
      I think the bottle was always correct. The ingredient was in there. And they just lied about it so reps would keep buying.

    I had some acquaintances who labeled themselves as "medical freedom" advocates. They told me I was a danger to my grandchildren because I had been vaxed. That was only one of several objectionable statements that caused me to end my relationship with them.

    It's unbelievable to me how she keeps going on about how professional she is whilst smack-talking former colleagues. I was trying to imagine if I--when I was manager of a record store--held a meeting with my employees and did this sort of thing. "Well, you know, Cole and Rory just quit after I spent all that time training them. I came in with an open heart and should've known better. Next time I will!" My employees would have lost all respect and trust in me.

    Fantastic video as always!!! This felt like a completely different animal than the ingredient debacle in the US. I just cannot believe (I mean, of course I can) that even after all the BS that went down already with the ingredients that they didn't prepare for this to happen AGAIN! Just like you said multiple times, how does Monat not have an FAQ on their website about this?! These people are resorting to illegally obtaining people's medical information because the company they're with is so dishonest and unprofessional that they can't depend on them at all to do the bare minimum. This would not happen with a normal company. Hell, I don't even feel like this would happen in most MLM companies (although, I've been wrong before!) I really love your content and always look forward to your uploads, this was incredible! Thank you for doing what you do!

    I have the same question MLM UNMASKED has towards Monat Australia - where is the current AUSTRALIAN (not US) Income Disclosure Statement for Monat Australia ?! They used to supply this separate IDS happily until a few years ago. Also, if you watch MLM UNMASKED stories (and the real stuff is in her stories), you'll see how she has meticulously broken down everything and shown what is really happening. We have our own DSA (Direct Selling Australia) which Monat is part of and still not complying with nor do any of these AUSTRALIAN Huns care or comply with AUSTRALIA Consumer Law and Taxation.
    Victoria Devine also is another Aussie speaking out against Monat and causing them to scramble because unlike them - Victoria is an actual financial advisor who knows the numbers.

      Aussie-land might not have the unhinged religious manipulation that happens in the USA however Aussie-land can be unhinged just much because it's like a larger version of a small town - we don't have a huge population and so invariably any MLM company will have unhinged Aussie huns trying desperately to keep it afloat.

    I’ve been looking forward to your long video since your community post. Idk the topic then, but this video is wild!! It’s truly a rerun of exactly what happened in the US! It’s just crazy that they’re acting like THEY were betrayed when in reality the people who left were the ones lied to & are doing what’s right by spreading the correct information. It’s all backwards & inside out in MLM.🤯🤦🏽‍♀️ the leader has said over a dozen times if you have questions come to ME & I will find the answers which is information control. They should be able to say 1. Monat didn’t do that or 2. The downlines can do their OWN research cuz they can stand up to criticism! Them all saying they were anti mlm too is beyond played out. If you were anti-MLM you’d have never even heard a recruiter out!🙄

    The ONLY point is Monat touts EU ingredients as a huge selling point both to recruit & sell, that changed & rather than changing their verbiage or letting people know they still said EU regs until people found out on their own!! She keeps saying ‘with my experience’ to explain away why red clover topically isn’t bad like she has medical experience. ALLLL she’s done is prove she’s crunchy UNTIL her money is involved & then that goes out the window!! Why ask if they have hormone issues is you’re saying it’s fine topically?! She’s talking in circles. It’s embarrassing. OMG she titled the email ‘women choosing money over integrity’ she just said.😳😳 1000% true!!!!!! Wow, I have to see what the reps that left have posted; I’m already so proud of them.

      Her problem is she’s taken an illogical stance. She could say that the science is pretty weak (or nonexistent) regarding some of these ingredients and cite the Pub Med research that is readily available on the topic. But she doesn’t trust science, so she has to try and split the difference, and as you pointed out, it becomes immediately evident what her actual motivation is. The reps that have left have every right to be angry that labels are being changed and product guarantees are being violated. However, that doesn’t mean that those reps aren’t simultaneously on shaky ground regarding their claims about these ingredients. What a mess.

    • @LiberatedByFaith
      @LiberatedByFaith 3 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา

      @@d3pr0fundis The science isn't weak on this topic because it's never been studied. All the testing that Lucas Meyer did on Capixyl had nothing to do with women's hormones. She's not citing 'weak science' because she knows what has been shared about Capixyl is true and they know it.

    I think its sick and twisted that the product the questionable ingredient is in is marketed by the huns for postpartum hair loss. 1:25:13 Jess Etcell (australias only SED, earning $50k + a month) no longer uses most of the monat products because of this. She is absolutely choosing money over integrity. She hasnt told her downline aboutvthe risks. She just quietly stopped using thd capixil products (which is most of them). I think several other leaders stopped too. So they are protecting themselves and their families from potential harm, whilst still selling the stuff to their massive downlines of thousands of women.

    The way criticisms toward the company/business model are twisted into personal attacks in order to guilt former participants is really rubs me the wrong way. Either they really are not meant to be managers/sales people if they take everything so personally, and have really mastered deflection from the actual concerns. Degrading people for not "respecting their time" but completely disrespecting the same people by recruiting them in an impossible pyramid scheme is just rich.

I can see selling a product with an ingredient you aren't concerned about but are aware other people might be. And that would be a way to address it without asking for private medical information. At least, that's how I would handle it. But then again I am not gonna join an MLM. I am also not crunchy. 🤷🏻‍♀️

    This makes me so angry. This was what I found out when I was breast-feeding my four month old baby. My hair was fried after a year of using Monat. Abbey Tameron had recommended for me to use the IR clinical line which contains capixyl and red clover extract. When we first started talking about my goals, I told her I was pregnant so she knew from the get-go before I even made my first purchase. She also knew that I was breastfeeding because I asked her if that was why my hair was so dry. She told me to just use a detangler and keep going. This when I finally severed my relationship with Abbey and Monet after a year of use. I told her I was absolutely appalled that the ingredients were not recommended for pregnant breastfeeding women, and yet she was completely aware and comfortable recommending those products to me, even though she claims she is a certified professional trichologist, marketing herself as an expert in the industry,… aka she should have known better. I will never stop wanting Abbey and all of Monat to fall and crumble to pieces. It hurts my heart so bad to think of any damage that I have done to my baby.

    Part 1// Hi Christine,
It’s Carlee here - that you are sharing about in this video. I was first shown this video back in December the day after it was recorded. I have remained quiet about it this whole time because I have not wanted to get caught up in the drama of it all, but since it is now out on the internet for public consumption I want to clear a few things up on my end from what was shared in that call - because although you haven’t shared anything ‘bad’ about me personally I do want to clarify a lot of the lies and false assumptions that were shared in the original video about me.
    - Firstly, I left Monat the first time in June 2022 because I had a lot health issues with my thyroid at the time, not realising it was possible the products were creating the issues - and re-joined in Jan 2024. I officially terminated my original account in June 2023 after multiple emails from Monat wanting me to pay the $75 rejoining fee and I decided I didn’t want to rejoin. It was not a case of just waiting out the 6 months and jumping into a different team. I didn’t leave Jess’ team

    - In August 2024 The personal discussion between Tay and I (which I have all the recordings of), I would agree ‘didn’t go well’ but that was not because of me. When I shared an issue that I had - after her openly claiming, just like on this call that she is always up for ‘tough conversations’ it was met with defensiveness and accusations of me just wanting to get close to her to ‘pick her apart’ a clear wound that she has, because she mentions it in this call also. Rather than reflecting on what was said she came back to me with a passive aggressive, gaslighting message which I never responded to.
    - It was at this time, after months of seeing things that were no longer feeling right with the company and MLM in general (I had not yet learnt about Capixyl yet) - I knew it was time to leave. I stopped interacting in the group chats, because she had accused me of trying to make myself the ‘go to person’ in the chats, so I stopped interacting in there and only in my own group chat. After a couple of weeks I told her I was stepping out, then a couple of weeks later she sent me another passive aggressive message asking me to go and tell the team why I have left to ‘squash any unnecessary speculation’ and if I didn’t she would do it saying ‘I’m happy to clear it up and deal with the aftermath of people leaving without saying anything.’
    tbc...

    • @LiberatedByFaith
      @LiberatedByFaith 3 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา

      Part 2// - I stopped going to her for any kind of mentoring when I saw that she had nothing to provide in any way of business advice. All she ever said was ‘work your personal business harder’ - because she had 80k followers on instagram and a constant stream of people reaching out to her, so she had no idea how to mentor anyone who wasn’t having that experience. At that point in time I had no issues with her personally, but I just knew she wasn’t the person that I was going to go to for any kind of support.

- I spoke very openly about the issues I had with my thyroid, I told Tay in 1:1’s and also spoke about it all the time on my social media.

      - I left Monat in August.
      - The hair loss of my daughter, as CLEARLY stated in the email, I noticed in SEPTEMBER. (Btw as soon as I swapped her to an organic shampoo and conditioner the hair loss stopped completely). So no, I didn’t take my concerns to her because I had no desire to have any communication with her anymore because of the way she handled the issue I brought to her in August.
      - I had no issues with the products or ingredients until I saw my daughter’s hair falling out in handfuls. I did wonder if it might have been the products, but it wasn’t until I sent an email out to my list in October talking about my frustration with the medical system in Australia (no mention of Monat) but shared that my blood tests showed clear signs of oestrogen dominance and a DIRECTOR in Australia responded and asked if I had considered Capixyl being an issue.
      - It was then in OCTOBER that I started my research into Capixyl. The director also shared with me about the PFAS ingredients in a number of the products which I was not aware of before.

      - I have no ‘business opportunity’ that I am trying to steal all her people into. I have had my eyes opened to the truth of MLM and it’s not something I will ever be a part of again in this way. I’m not running a business at all, ‘the new door that is opening’ is launching a (free!) podcast that has absolutely nothing to do with business. No offerings. No ulterior motive like she try’s to make out as to why I shared this information. I have never cross recruited. I had over 3500 people in my downline in my previous company and never once reached out to any of them. Ever.

    • @LiberatedByFaith
      @LiberatedByFaith 3 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา

      Part 3// - I never once mentioned Covid, or mandated vaccines for children, I spoke about INFORMED CONSENT. That is, if there is a potential for harm from a product, there is a duty of care of those sharing that product to let people know. I understand you personally are not into the ‘crunchy movement’ but those of us who are, do understand that there is an issue with Capixyl - which Tay openly admits in this call.

      - She says what I was saying ‘discredited me’ yet, nothing I shared wasn’t true. I never said she told people to gaslight people, she just does it in the way she responds. I have multiple screenshots of messages of her gaslighting and making passive aggressive comments.

      - I don’t know how Tay did with maths at school, but it’s pretty simple to me - I don’t have up to date figures but in 2020 Monat had 1.2 million VIP customers… pretty sure a ‘small percentage’ of that would equal thousands (who have reported issues) nothing about that statement I made is contradictory.
      - I have clearly stated throughout my email that Capixyl may not be an issue for most people, but the fact that there is no long term safety data means no-one actually knows what it is doing - and that is my point. She openly agrees to the fact that there could potentially be issues with Capixyl for some people then tries to discredit me for saying it.

      - She says everyone has the ability to go an research the ingredients and that is true - it’s all there. But given the fact every product has a huge list of ingredients it’s extremely time consuming to do that, so consumers rely on the belief that the people that are selling the products are being truthful when they say these products are better than salon/supermarket products. But the reality is, they’re not. And I personally have only come to realise that in October last year when I did the deep dive into Capixyl and some of the other ingredients. For 2.5 years prior to that I was happily using the products.

      - It was highly manipulative when she said ‘women like US are just doing this for money’ There 100% is people in Monat who have chosen money over integrity. I wasn’t talking about the women who were listening in on that call, I feel sorry for them because most of them are making NO money. There are 2 maybe 3 people (out of 400+) in her entire downline who made over 20K last year and most of the rest have made very little. I was talking about the women who are making 5 figure+ per month and choosing to ignore this because of the money. Not the poor woman who is losing money or making very little.

    • @LiberatedByFaith
      @LiberatedByFaith 3 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา

      Part 4// - Tori (my team member) was the very first person I told in October when I received the email from the director asking me if I had considered Capixyl. I also have the screen recording of that entire message, where I share with her how I had recently noticed my daughters hairloss because it visibly noticeable all over her head at this point, and how I had really hoped it wasn’t the products but it was looking more and more like it was. I kept Tori in the loop the entire time. Again, this was just them trying to discredit me and my character, because I had clearly shown throughout my entire time in Monat that honesty and integrity was a value I lived by, not just said I did. And when I came across new information, I shared it all with her. Despite her telling the whole team (in their group chat) I betrayed her, I was open and honest with her throughout the entire time. If she took what I shared personally, that’s on her and her own insecurities - not me.

      - Amelia again attacking my character and trying to make it look like I came in with the intention to tear down Monat. I came back into Monat because I genuinely believed in the products. Over time, I started seeing some red flags with the company that were concerning to me, and just because I never took it to Tay and Amelia doesn’t mean I wasn’t having conversations about it with other people, who in my opinion had much more sound information around it all.

      - The ‘success that I didn’t expect to get’ at the time of me leaving... I was the second highest rank out of all of her team. I had hit MMB in 4 months. Compared to the vast majority, that was fast growth. I was definitely frustrated with some things that were happening, but all of this had absolutely nothing to do with any of that. It also had nothing to do with how much money I had (not) made - according to Tay. I made $7.5k in Monat up until mid Oct. I was one of the highest income earners at the time that I had left. There was only 2 (maybe 3) women (sidelines) who had made more than me. I constantly had Tay’s team members coming to me asking me for mentoring because they were getting nothing from her 1:1’s and were frustrated and ALWAYS gave them my time and support.
      - Anyone who knows me knows, that I don’t plan anything ahead of time. When I share content it is always done on the fly when I have the space to create it. This was not ‘calculated’, this was not to manipulate their EOM, I couldn’t care less about any of that. I hadn’t even decided if I was going to send that email or not. I had sent one to my VIP’s and MP’s a couple of weeks before (which Tori also received and knew about) - and then had been deciding whether or not to send one to my whole list. That day I decided I would. I wrote it and sent it, and shared it on my instagram. End of story.

      - Yes, I was still getting paid from Monat at the time of sharing the email. I was paid $56.61 in November 2024. I can’t share screenshots here I don’t think… but that’s the truth. I’m sure Tay and Amelia can have that fact checked with Monat corporate if they want to. The ONLY reason I had kept my account active was because I still had some VIP’s who had not yet decided if they were going to continue with the products or not and I wanted to be able to remain supporting them if that’s what they desired because I knew they would roll up to Tay and not get taken care of. Knowing that I would have to pay a $75 fee to keep my account in January and likely not make much more than that in the year if there was anyone still ordering. I can assure you it was not about the 'huge' money I was going to be making.

      Part 5// - I find it personally fascinating that at the beginning Tay says ‘I’m not here to talk bad about anyone’ and then proceeds to spend 1h 26mins doing exactly that.
      - Unlike Tay or Amelia who shared no evidence of their claims on this call, and didn't stick to facts, but spoke from emotions - I actually have screenshots, emails, and voice messages to back up everything I have shared here. Aside from what i shard with her on a 1:1 call about my hair and thyroid because that was a phone conversation. I built credibility in that team because I have integrity, I had every intention of continuing to share these products with VIP’s when I left because I truly believed in the products. It wasn’t until the facts were right in front of me, with my daughters hair that I knew I needed to look into it.
      -And although the ingredients are not your focus here, for those who do care about what they put on their bodies, they should be concerned about Capixyl and the lack of safety data. Even Tay said herself that the scalp absorbs 12x more than other areas of the body and even trace amounts of something can have a significant effect with some people.
      - If the 'friendships' lost were truly friendships they would have come to me and asked me for my side of events and not just taken everything that was told to them as the gospel truth. The only ones who came to me and asked questions were the ones that also left.
      -From what I have been able to find, there was only ever 2 studies (that were funded by Lucas Meyer) on Capixyl and no testing was done on women’s hormones. If you’re using these products, the fact is you have no idea what it is doing in your body because it accumulates - especially if you are using topical ‘treatment’ sprays that stay on the head with highly concentrated forms of Capixyl. Those are the facts, and that is what I shared. And that the people who are sharing these products should be informing the people they are selling to about this ingredient because the vast majority of women buying these products do so because they trust the woman who is selling to them and what they are saying about the products being less harmful than salon and supermarket products. When they're not.
