Team Georgia for sure. I grew up as a little kid staying with my grandparents in Georgia and a piece of my heart has always been there. Great place, beautiful tall trees to a level that you won’t find anywhere else, great economy, great values and culture, just all around great place to be.
Well said. Thank you for watching!
I’m renting in GA. Waiting for my house to sell in West Palm Beach Florida. Biggest reason I will buy a house here is the schools. Florida can’t compare. Also the mountains. I’ve met a lot of people from California which was a surprise. Can you guys do a review on Gwinnett County again? It’s grown since.
@@thequeenofwitches7943 I came because of the nature. Winter sucks everywhere but FLA. I miss it but GA has alot to take advantage of. I got here in Fall and loved the seasons. The variety in food is incredible. Try to do a lot of the town events if possible. I stay away from Atlanta. Nothing for me there.
Yes, we definitely can! Thanks for watching.
Lived in gwinnett for 20 yrs.. kinda like a suburban sprawl area
Mommy and Daddy retired in NE Georgia via a 55 or older community and Love It.
So happy they love it!
Born as a Floridian, unfortunately, I would rather move to Georgia than anywhere else. To me, I would love to live in a southern state where Scarlett O’Hara became the famous fictional character of the American south. And there’s no palm trees there! The reason why I can’t get out of Florida is because of my father, stubborn grassroots. At least up north Georgia, it’s more of a cooler place to live in. Despite the political and social problems, I’ll take Georgia any day, even if it runs out of peaches.
I moved to GA a year and a half ago. The worst decision I’ve made. People are super rude, food is limited to just fried food and fast food, if you want to make a decent amount of pay Atlanta is the only option. We are looking to go to south Florida!
I'm sorry to hear that you don't love it! If you have a home to sell, I would love to help! You can reach me at hello@keypointhomesgroup.com or 470-577-6472.
South Florida is not for the weak minded. Lol.
I am from Georgia, but i would love to move to Florida to be near the beach and Disney, and warmer weather. I am concerned about the flood insurance, though
You should be. I just saw a friend make a post that his home owners insurance is now $9k a year!
@@MovingtoGeorgia oof that's rough. That's like almost a whole extra rent
Also retirees dont have to pay school tax in georgia which drastically reduced there property taxes
Very true! It varies by county and most offer partial or complete school property tax exemption by age.
Here in glynn county it's full exemption after 65 or 70

That lake is just a body of water on top of an entire town that was owned by black people. That’s so sad!! It’s technically a historical landmark that ppl sail on for fun! And there are cemeteries down there!!
