I used to send ePubs to the Kindle via email. It worked a treat. I tried again recently and kept receiving "error" emails from Amazon, even though my settings haven't changed. A look at the Forums was, let's say, less than productive. Ditto the problem using the Send To Kindle Web Page. Not sure what I'm doing wrong. Just tried with a PDF and that worked fine _but_ the formatting isn't ideal!
I think you missed one option which is the one I use most from my windows PC. In File Explorer, right click on any file and, from the drop down menu, click on "send to". Then select the Kindle option and choose which devices to send it to.

But first, which versions of Kindle actually read EPUB and what about the book covers? What format should books be converted to so that they appear in the "books" section and not in the "documents" section? Greetings
