I worked at a resort, where they had barrels of water trapped and a separate building that was like an osmosis plant to clean and filter the water from houses maybe to clean water for drinking ? This was set close to the ocean so nothing leaked into the ocean, maybe the same for the river or stream you see?
Sorry to post so much but there is a place called the Old Hickory Lock and Dam in Hendersonville and that would explain the 'trapped water' part I would say. The dam is on the way toward Memphis if chris was heading to work according to my GPS. OMGGG this is such a sad mess 😞
