Great video topic. I just discovered your channel and this is the first video I’ve seen. I absolutely love Amina Muaddi and have several pairs myself. I live in Nashville, Tn and outside of social media I’ve never seen anyone wearing them besides myself in real life. I am sure there are some others in Nashville who have them but the market isn’t over saturated here.

Yes yes yesss! - “Lost in a designer bubble” is ABSOLUTELY the truth! It’s nice to invest in an item-or-two every now-and-again but it can DEFINITELY go downhill quite quickly if you’re not careful!
Yesss sis! - They’re stunning but DEFINITELY overly saturated! - And not only that, but there’s SO many dupes out that it doesn’t even make sense to get the Versaces at this point. 😩🙄
Outside of my kids which even that has been challenging, I have bought very few clothes for the last 3-4 years. There has been very few compelling things to get. I skipped the capsule wardrobe and then the still wanting to shop so new logic to replace capsule wardrobe with more expensive clothes. Also skipped the investment phase where my consumable clothes/bags are now an investment like a stock. Still can't figure that one out. I still have my original wardrobe that I always was happy with. I don't expect clothing to fill a void or make me happy but creativity has been so lacking. The few companies like you mention that are actually creating something new like Botegga and the shoes get over consumed because creativity has become rare. I used to buy best of trends but everything has become a blur of everyone looking like everyone else and no creativity. I just miss everyone being able to pull out their own unique thing vs the need to pull out the it bag, shoes or jacket to cheat the work and get approval through spending money on a brand vs having your unique style that you feel great in. Yes we can all spend money but this has become the content creator formula that has in and of itself has become a trend, a moment in time where creativity and real individual style was short changed where creativity turned into a formula.
