Wow, and I thought after Prime, we're not going to be able to have dark shows again. But damn this show had a LOT of death, even for major characters. The ending was bittersweet too. I like this version of the transformerverse because it doesn't make Megatron 100% evil and wanted to have everyone back on equal footing along with Prime. On the other hand, Prime was interesting because it did touch on each transformer's history, including the Decepticons. I would love a series where we dive into their histories before what we know of them today.
The rescue bot series has some history with the connection with earth and cybertronians before the current cybertron if that’s what your’re looking for. Also, BLURR DIDNT DIE IN RESCUE BOTS WHAT THE HECK
rescue bots is tied to the Prime-Robots in Disguise continuity. Cyberverse still draws from the Aligned canon, with the 13 primes, maccadams and such, but it's a new timeline.
Sure it wasn't perfect, but it was a damn good show. Especially for all the world building it did for Cybertron. And so the fact that they did it all with basically no humans

The humans are there to reduce cost. You can't get god-like CGIs like in Bay movies without a huge budget. I watched Bay movies for the CGIs and the actions. When I want story and characters, I watch the cartoons.

Cyberverse was at least entertaining despite it being “for kids”. RID15? What’s the point of being a Prime sequel when it mentions nothing of Prime apart from dead Optimus, until the second season when they remembered “oh it’s a sequel” and decided to make Optimus alive again to butcher Bumblebee’s character building. Also they tend to nerf their characters a lot. Sometimes even nerf their intelligence. There was one RID15 episode I decided to watch for fun, but I got really confused and a bit mad that the episode treats you like a fool. Drift the samurai has two swords, one sword was accidentally broken by acid clean, they replace the sword with a rubber tubing (how does Drift not feel it being weird). Shit happened on a maglev train, they learn a lesson of not being a liar. But here’s my big question mark. Mr Red car Sideswipe has always carried a random ass sword on his back. Not one time did he use it at all like he used to in the first season. Why couldn’t Sideswipe allow Drift to use his sword in the meantime? Sideswipe doesn’t even use his sword anymore. Better yet, how did Drift not notice that Sideswipe still has a sword on his back, and just ask Sideswipe for the sword when he realises his actual sword was missing an entire blade?
Okay I actually don't understand everyone think RID 2015 is bad I'm not done watching but for what I can see it's a good show but you know whats a bad show transformers animated hands down 1/10 get out of here
I like this widescreen of Transformers cyberverse, just like Star wars Clone Wars and Bad Batch, But it still heartbreaking to see Prowl's tragic death.
Actually multiple Autobots and Decepticons develop friendships throughout the show and them preferring each other's company to their allegiance to opposing factions is a recurring theme
Worth mentioning : Most of the velocitronian race( assuming there's survivor out there that escaped or were not on the planet at the time) Generic died during the final autobot vs decepticon battle(start of season 3) and quintisson invasion
A special mention to Hound. Who we never actually saw in the show but was mentioned to have never made it after a failed attempt at breaking him free from the Quintesson machine.

I thought that after Transformers Prime there isn't a worthy or darker show (like RID 2015) but this show was amazing. Season 1 was a bit.. funny but season 3 was AWESOME and it also got me emotional on Soundwave's death but overall this show was a masterpiece the only animated show (for me)that is worthy enough to stand after Transformers prime.

I love how Cyberverse, which is just a reboot of G1 (although technically any continuity can be considered a reboot of G1), has more deaths than RID 2015. I mean I don't know, it's not like it was supposed to be the sequel to Prime, one of the darkest and most mature TF shows ever, no, not at all.
The Quintessons invade Cybertrom and they have to join forces to defeat them. Then Megatron X invades with the army of perfect Decepticons and both sides are afraid of being reformated.

Then Megatron X invades with the army of perfect Decepticons and both sides are afraid of being reformated.
Good franchise but didn't get enough love like TFP and TFG1
