I don't understand why the filmmaker decided to overlay audio tracks from other UFO video clips (like Gimbal) in a segment about the Nimitz tic-tac encounter? It's dishonest and is a disservice to the field of ufology.
I can understand why he is the way he is. Back in 1987, I was 25 or so feet from something that changed my life. I hope we all find answers someday soon.

The speed has been reported in other units, like kilometers per second, but most people have to do some math for the figures to be meaningful. All estimates are equally outrageous. Kevin Day was actually being conservative. I've seen 15 km/s. We don't have anything that can do that. We don't even have the physics to explain that.

Hey editor of this video, I’m 99% sure the audio clips over the tic tac FLIR footage are from a completely separate instance, that occurred a decade after the Nimitz Incident, and in a different part of the world.
What I saw personally wasn’t a fast moving ‘UAP’, but a circular disk. I arrived home to my cottage door in the Scottish Borders and heard a low humming noise, looked up and there was this craft coming quite slowly towards me. It had round red lights facing downwards and a thick ‘bumper’ around the base of it, and it was very low, only maybe 60 feet up. It was travelling straight but ‘turning’ in motion as it floated along. Most incredible moment of my life, it stays in my mind forever. Nothing can describe the feeling. That was in January 1989, and I still think about that thing.

I was staring at the sky thinking about something when suddenly it appeared out of nowhere already traveling about .3-.8mach 3K+ altitude, went in a straight line for about 30 seconds, and disappeared into thin air never to be seen again, I even checked flight tracker online and found nothing in the area resembling this craft… there was not a cloud in sight and it was about 2pm daytime. Obviously no control surfaces, no shadows, no markings, no glare or reflections, nothing - just a heavenly white tic tac ominously moving through the sky as if impervious to physics, and poof it’s gone… all while I was looking at it because once I realized it appeared out of nowhere, I kept my eyes on it all the way until it disappeared… I know how airplanes and other things look like/live near an airport, and this thing was definitely not an airplane. I would say it’s probably the size of a school bus at the distance I was looking at it… it was similar size to like a large grain of rice held on palm near the face.

These vehicles, from wherever they originate, seem to have superior abilities to the vehicles we have. This alone should make anyone curious about their intentions. They can enter restricted airspace at will, and it seems there is nothing that can be done about it. They have been observed for many years, yet luckily, seem not to have hostile intentions.
I'm fairly open minded on the subject but what keeps me somewhat skeptical is that there has never been a clear images of one of these things where you can visually discern what it is. They're always fuzzy or hazy
I just realized how elegant this tic tac looks. Smooth and simple shape. It can fly in space and in the atmosphere of a planet. They have one flying vehicle that can perform great in two different environments.

@@interesting-facts100 I don't know, but I've never seen anything move that fast. It was out of sight in one second. No human could withstand those G's. Just making the 90 degree turn was impressive. No piece of equipment I know that flies can make a perfect 90 degree turn.
My mother saw one back in the late 1970s flying parallel to Interstate 64 just east of Louisville, Kentucky. She even drew a picture of it when she got home and she described it as having an antenna that pointed downward. What she saw was exactly like this tic-tac. She said that it was moving faster than the traffic but was not making any sound. This happened during the summer and she was driving with her window rolled down and she couldn't hear a jet engine or any sound whatsoever. The rest of the family didn't know what to make of her story, but she sticks to her account to this day. She was quite excited about it when she got home and couldn't wait to tell everyone.

Honestly videos like this do a disservice to credibility of the subject...they threw together multiple videos unrelated, with sound clips taken from one video and added to a different one, and then the suspenseful music and note taking pantomime...it's a mess and ammunition for skeptics. Listening to Kevin a number of times, he seems highly competent and credible and I would love to see more interviews discussing specific technical details of the event in order to better analyze each perspective.
Everyone needs to view Jeremy Corbell’s interview with the man who actually filmed the object. He had seen a “classified object” and immediately was sent to be debriefed and sign NDA’s. When he encountered the Tic Tac he was NOT debriefed or contacted, which should tell you all you need to know.
The only thing that confuses me about this testimony is that the pilot "says" he had no problem getting and keeping the footage from that flight. And that nobody really cared about it. And the pilot didn't say anything about a helicopter landed and took all the info away.
In 2003, a friend of mine and I saw a UFO flying just 2 meters above a street light, which is about 7-8 meters above us. We were walking home from a basketball game and I noticed something moving above us. Looking up, I saw the UFO moving completely silently and at walking pace above us. Unfortunately it was late and dark outside and the UFO itself was not lit. It had something like air intakes on the underside at 1 meter intervals and was about 4 to 5 meters in diameter. As it slowly retreats, the typical diamond shape is created, for example. It was about 1.5 meters high. It's not a lie, it really happened
My family and I saw these things back in the mid 70s in Australia. We saw them change direction very sharply, speed up and glow brighter, slow down and glow duller. We also saw them stop and drop down to the ground out of our field of vision. One night we saw a light blue triangle mother ship high up may be in orbit it looked a bit like the green triangles that they have shown in other videos. I saw one of those tic tax shapes in the sky last week. Sitting on my porch just hanging out when a large rectangle with a grid pattern of blue lights just appeared in the sky. It remained stationary for maybe fifteen seconds and then the lights intensified and suddenly it was gone. It didn’t fly away it was just gone. In watching this video what struck me is that he said something about it being like on Star Trek. That’s exactly how I felt. It looked just like the ship did as it powered up to travel at warp speed. The thing appearing to fly off to the left has been debunked. It's simply a visual artifact of the sudden change in camera zoom from 1 to 2 times. Look as the zoom indicator. You can clearly see it go from 1 to 2 as it happens 😅.

I was 6-7 years old and my elder brother (9-10 years old) saw a white jellyfish-like structure above our roof, He saw it dropping to the ground in our house but we never found it.
There was recently a 4 part documentary called UFO and in one of the episodes it spent the majority of the time "playing skeptic"...making a case that these are not extraterrestrial in nature. One of the Navy pilots was interviewed in this episode. The pilot had graduated from Top Gun and was well respected, but admitted that his encounter had truly shaken him mentally to the point that he was losing sleep and experiencing paranoia. The interviewer brought up the idea that this craft could have been from a secret branch of our government and using the Navy as guinea pigs to test their craft. You could actually see the anger rise up in the pilot's face thinking about our government possibly using him this way. The documentary didn't allege this was the case, just a possibility, but if it turns out this was our test craft it's unconscionable that our own enlisted men would be used at the detriment of their mental well being. (Unconscionable, but of course injustices to our own have happened many times, in many ways before).
The main argument against that theory is, why would they expose themselves in such a way? Which in turn became exposure to the entire world. If they are of human origin, I assume they are unmanned and that they are reversed engineered from technology not of this world. There's so much that's unknown about the whole thing.

At 5:15, I am genuinely puzzled by this... Kevin is an expert witness, totally trustworthy... and yet, his basic interpretation of the video, that the tic tac moves like in "star trek" seems obviously wrong to me. It is clear (to me) that the quick movement of the tic tac is just an illusion caused by the change in zoom level of the camera. You can see the zoom number change from 1.0 to 2.0. Look at the number in the upper left corner. The camera momentarily lost tracking just before the zoom change, indicated by the widening of the parallel bars. After the camera momentarily loses tracking, it immediately zooms in and can't regain that lock, so the object drifts off out of view, at what appears to be constant speed. I'm just commenting on this one part of the video, not about the whole encounter. I'm happy to be corrected on my interpretation.

When the object appears to zip off - the camera actually loses lock and in conjunction with the speed of the tracking jet - creates the illusion of the ufo accelerating. The questions are why did it lose lock and why wasn’t he able to reacquire and how did it vanish off the Jet’s radar as well as the ship’s radar and why did it not have any transponder in closed airspace? Also, why did the TV image have a close correspondence to the IR image? It seems to actually be a fairly well defined tic Tac shape. A very compelling case even without acceleration on the video.

The data present on the video with regard to speed and rate of turn of Underwood’s aircraft clearly indicates that when the camera loses lock the rate at which the object exits the frame is mathematically precisely what you would see as a result of Underwood’s continued rate of turn without the compensating pan of the locked camera. It doesn’t matter what Underwood claims - what is seen on the video is a result of loss of lock and not object acceleration. His misinterpreting that the object accelerated is understandable because it vanished. What is strange is why he wasn’t able to reacquire and why it lost lock and why it vanished and why it was there in the first place and why it looked the way it did.
Witnessed a fast moving sphere while flying through Colorado. It was flying very fast over the trees, no wings, white or metallic. I’ve never seen a drone that was a perfect circle and could move that fast.

I think it is only supposed to establish the connection between sighting and audio reaction. Seth Shostak, SETI scientist, recently claimed radar does not yield distance information, therefore velocity and accelerations are not right, as in the case of the Nimitz incident where an object traveled 28,000 ft. in .7 seconds. Seth Shostak can eat static!
David Fravor said it came from ABOVE 80k feet and then on down to the surface. Why is this guy claiming it was only 28,000 feet? Also, he claimed it basically happened on November 14th and eluded that no other readings had been seen. Fravor said the radar operator told him they had been seeing these things on radar for two weeks beforehand.
I wish I had a perfect memory ! This story looks to have been cut in bite size pieces ! When the Tic Tac disengaged Mr Fravor it disappeared ! Right as Commander David Fravor and Alex Dietrich went "merge-plot" with the "unknown target" Master Chief Petty Officer Kevin Day tracked the object descend from an altitude of 28,000 ft to 5 ft above sea level in 0.78 seconds. That means it traveled 5.491 miles in a little over 3/4 of a second. That's a MEAN AVERAGE descent of 24,116 mph. Then the Tic-Tac traveled laterally in order to disengage from Commander Fravor piloting his F/A-18F Super Hornet. It "disappeared" and then "reappeared" at their CAP Point, which was 60-65 miles away in 5.0 seconds. That's 12-13 miles per second which translates to between 43,200 mph (or Mach 56) and 46,800 mph (or Mach 61).
Why do you conflate the audio from the gimbal encounter - a totally different event at a completely different time - with the Nimitz encounter? Dramatic license and inaccuracy does nothing but ruin credibility on an otherwise incredible event. We don’t need to be entertained - we need to be informed.
This is the 2nd time I’ve heard that personnel came onboard to collect what was recorded. This was explained away as in this never happened, but now I’m not so sure. Sailors are so preoccupied with their jobs that background events go unnoticed most of the time until someone mentions it. There are plenty of events that happen and stay between the people who witness them. I saw the coolest thing underway once. A meteor burning up and breaking apart in the sky. These things are not friendly, they are here to do something on our planet and our consent is not required. The governments have made contact with them and an agreement was made to keep them covered up and minimize exposure so that they can do whatever it is they are doing with minimal interruption. The reason is they gave us two choices : Work for them and they will ignore us, or don't and they will use force to prevent us interfering. Actual disclosure would likely be disastrous.

I once told a work colleague as a youth l didn't believe in aliens ghosts etc but now as an old man I've been seeing such objects all my life. They have three things in common, they can reach fantastic speeds apparently without acceleration, are completely silent and can become invisible. Not of this world. A variety of discs and spheres.
We have been observed since forever by the same entities that created us... 'Let us make man in our image'. I, along with others, seen 2 similar craft on the outskirts of Sydney back in 1966. I believe they are suddenly showing up everywhere to prepare to stop humankind from destroying the entire earthly environment - not a doubt in my mind and who can blame them?

I want the DoD to publish a comprehensive report on this event. Share the raw data. Multiple radar operators and multiple pilots, through FLIR and through their eyes, saw the same thing. The event lasted days. Either this event did not occur at all, or it did, and there is no human answer. It has been 20 years. Make public the data.
There were multiple witnesses. They are not going to make something up that makes them look crazy, which was verified by multiple radar witnesses. The pilots and others are professional, trained observers.

What I saw personally wasn’t a fast moving ‘UAP’, but a circular disk. I arrived home to my cottage door in the Scottish Borders and heard a low humming noise, looked up and there was this craft coming quite slowly towards me. It had round red lights facing downwards and a thick ‘bumper’ around the base of it, and it was very low, only maybe 60 feet up. It was travelling straight but ‘turning’ in motion as it floated along. Most incredible moment of my life, it stays in my mind forever. Nothing can describe the feeling. That was in January 1989, and I still think about that thing.

I was staring at the sky thinking about something when suddenly it appeared out of nowhere already traveling about .3-.8mach 3K+ altitude, went in a straight line for about 30 seconds, and disappeared into thin air never to be seen again, I even checked flight tracker online and found nothing in the area resembling this craft… there was not a cloud in sight and it was about 2pm daytime. Obviously no control surfaces, no shadows, no markings, no glare or reflections, nothing - just a heavenly white tic tac ominously moving through the sky as if impervious to physics, and poof it’s gone… all while I was looking at it because once I realized it appeared out of nowhere, I kept my eyes on it all the way until it disappeared… I know how airplanes and other things look like/live near an airport, and this thing was definitely not an airplane. I would say it’s probably the size of a school bus at the distance I was looking at it… it was similar size to like a large grain of rice held on palm near the face.

My mother saw one back in the late 1970s flying parallel to Interstate 64 just east of Louisville, Kentucky. She even drew a picture of it when she got home and she described it as having an antenna that pointed downward. What she saw was exactly like this tic-tac. She said that it was moving faster than the traffic but was not making any sound. This happened during the summer and she was driving with her window rolled down and she couldn't hear a jet engine or any sound whatsoever. The rest of the family didn't know what to make of her story, but she sticks to her account to this day. She was quite excited about it when she got home and couldn't wait to tell everyone.

Honestly videos like this do a disservice to credibility of the subject...they threw together multiple videos unrelated, with sound clips taken from one video and added to a different one, and then the suspenseful music and note taking pantomime...it's a mess and ammunition for skeptics. Listening to Kevin a number of times, he seems highly competent and credible and I would love to see more interviews discussing specific technical details of the event in order to better analyze each perspective.

Everyone needs to view Jeremy Corbell’s interview with the man who actually filmed the object. He had seen a “classified object” and immediately was sent to be debriefed and sign NDA’s. When he encountered the Tic Tac he was NOT debriefed or contacted, which should tell you all you need to know.

The only thing that confuses me about this testimony is that the pilot "says" he had no problem getting and keeping the footage from that flight. And that nobody really cared about it.

In 2003, a friend of mine and I saw a UFO flying just 2 meters above a street light, which is about 7-8 meters above us. We were walking home from a basketball game and I noticed something moving above us. Looking up, I saw the UFO moving completely silently and at walking pace above us. Unfortunately it was late and dark outside and the UFO itself was not lit. It had something like air intakes on the underside at 1 meter intervals and was about 4 to 5 meters in diameter. When I saw it, I immediately said to my buddy, "Sebastian, look at this," pointing at it with my right index finger. We both stood there, frozen, not knowing what to say. As it slowly retreats, the typical diamond shape is created, for example. It was about 1.5 meters high. It's not a lie, it really happened
My family and I saw these things back in the mid 70s in Australia. We saw them change direction very sharply, speed up and glow brighter, slow down and glow duller. We also saw them stop and drop down to the ground out of our field of vision. One night we saw a light blue triangle mother ship high up may be in orbit it looked a bit like the green triangles that they have shown in other videos. I'm so glad to be finally seeing these things shown on the media.

I saw one of those tic tax shapes in the sky last week. Sitting on my porch just hanging out when a large rectangle with a grid pattern of blue lights just appeared in the sky. It remained stationary for maybe fifteen seconds and then the lights intensified and suddenly it was gone. It didn’t fly away it was just gone. In watching this video what struck me is that he said something about it being like on Star Trek. That’s exactly how I felt. It looked just like the ship did as it powered up to travel at warp speed. The thing appearing to fly off to the left has been debunked. It's simply a visual artifact of the sudden change in camera zoom from 1 to 2 times. Look as the zoom indicator. You can clearly see it go from 1 to 2 as it happens 😅.

I was 6-7 years old and my elder brother (9-10 years old) saw a white jellyfish-like structure above our roof, He saw it dropping to the ground in our house but we never found it.
There was recently a 4 part documentary called UFO and in one of the episodes it spent the majority of the time "playing skeptic"...making a case that these are not extraterrestrial in nature.
One of the Navy pilots was interviewed in this episode. The pilot had graduated from Top Gun and was well respected, but admitted that his encounter had truly shaken him mentally to the point that he was losing sleep and experiencing paranoia.
The interviewer brought up the idea that this craft could have been from a secret branch of our government and using the Navy as guinea pigs to test their craft.
You could actually see the anger rise up in the pilot's face thinking about our government possibly using him this way.
The documentary didn't allege this was the case, just a possibility, but if it turns out this was our test craft it's unconscionable that our own enlisted men would be used at the detriment of their mental well being. (Unconscionable, but of course injustices to our own have happened many times, in many ways before).
The main argument against that theory is, why would they expose themselves in such a way? Which in turn became exposure to the entire world. If they are of human origin, I assume they are unmanned and that they are reversed engineered from technology not of this world. There's so much that's unknown about the whole thing.

At 5:15, I am genuinely puzzled by this... Kevin is an expert witness, totally trustworthy... and yet, his basic interpretation of the video, that the tic tac moves like in "star trek" seems obviously wrong to me. It is clear (to me) that the quick movement of the tic tac is just an illusion caused by the change in zoom level of the camera. You can see the zoom number change from 1.0 to 2.0. Look at the number in the upper left corner. The camera momentarily lost tracking just before the zoom change, indicated by the widening of the parallel bars. After the camera momentarily loses tracking, it immediately zooms in and can't regain that lock, so the object drifts off out of view, at what appears to be constant speed.
I'm just commenting on this one part of the video, not about the whole encounter. I'm happy to be corrected on my interpretation.

I would not be surprised if this object was man made, and they were testing it to see what reaction it would get from the military.
No chance. They’d be risking a mid air collision… also, this event was 20 years ago. They didn’t have antiG 20 years ago, and if they did we’d have seen it by now.
Sir Francis Chichester reported seeing one of these crafts during his 1931 flight from New Zealand to Australia. There is no way that the object he saw was manmade. Even David Fravor said during his Joe Rogan interview that if these were manmade then we would know about them by now, all these years later ... since 2004.
The title calling him a Navy Officer is incorrect. Thus, I have doubts about this.
When the object appears to zip off - the camera actually loses lock and in conjunction with the speed of the tracking jet - creates the illusion of the ufo accelerating.
The questions are why did it lose lock and why wasn’t he able to reacquire and how did it vanish off the Jet’s radar as well as the ship’s radar and why did it not have any transponder in closed airspace? Also, why did the TV image have a close correspondence to the IR image? It seems to actually be a fairly well defined tic Tac shape.
A very compelling case even without acceleration on the video.
Commander Fravor was very clear that the camera didn't lose lock, the object was just moving faster than what the camera can accurately track

The data present on the video with regard to speed and rate of turn of Underwood’s aircraft clearly indicates that when the camera loses lock the rate at which the object exits the frame is mathematically precisely what you would see as a result of Underwood’s continued rate of turn without the compensating pan of the locked camera. It doesn’t matter what Underwood claims - what is seen on the video is a result of loss of lock and not object acceleration. His misinterpreting that the object accelerated is understandable because it vanished.
What is strange is why he wasn’t able to reacquire and why it lost lock and why it vanished and why it was there in the first place and why it looked the way it did.
Witnessed a fast moving sphere while flying through Colorado. It was flying very fast over the trees, no wings, white or metallic. I’ve never seen a drone that was a perfect circle and could move that fast.

I think it is only supposed to establish the connection between sighting and audio reaction. The Nimitz TicTac incident must have been just as surprising and the audio recordings were probably similar. But unfortunately there aren't any. Thats why they used the 2015 audio... A silent video recording would be boring.

Seth Shostak, SETI scientist, recently claimed radar does not yield distance information, therefore velocity and accelerations are not right, as in the case of the Nimitz incident where an object traveled 28,000 ft. in .7 seconds. Seth Shostak can eat static!

David Fravor said it came from ABOVE 80k feet and then on down to the surface. Why is this guy claiming it was only 28,000 feet? Also, he claimed it basically happened on November 14th and eluded that no other readings had been seen. Fravor said the radar operator told him they had been seeing these things on radar for two weeks beforehand.
I wish I had a perfect memory ! This story looks to have been cut in bite size pieces ! When the Tic Tac disengaged Mr Fravor it disappeared ! A few seconds later it reappeared approximately 60 miles away, and stopped to hang out for some amount of time ! I believe this maybe where the speed and G forces may have been calculated ! I have also heard lesser numbers for the 80,000’ to sea level sprint and stop event ! Even if it’s only hundreds of G still not physically possible ! ( unless you are distorting time ) what do you think 🤔???

Right as Commander David Fravor and Alex Dietrich went "merge-plot" with the "unknown target" Master Chief Petty Officer Kevin Day tracked the object descend from an altitude of 28,000 ft to 5 ft above sea level in 0.78 seconds. That means it traveled 5.491 miles in a little over 3/4 of a second. That's a MEAN AVERAGE descent of 24,116 mph. Then the Tic-Tac traveled laterally in order to disengage from Commander Fravor piloting his F/A-18F Super Hornet. It "disappeared" and then "reappeared" at their CAP Point, which was 60-65 miles away in 5.0 seconds. That's 12-13 miles per second which translates to between 43,200 mph (or Mach 56) and 46,800 mph (or Mach 61).

Why do you conflate the audio from the gimbal encounter - a totally different event at a completely different time - with the Nimitz encounter? Dramatic license and inaccuracy does nothing but ruin credibility on an otherwise incredible event. We don’t need to be entertained - we need to be informed.

This is the 2nd time I’ve heard that personnel came onboard to collect what was recorded. This was explained away as in this never happened, but now I’m not so sure. Sailors are so preoccupied with their jobs that background events go unnoticed most of the time until someone mentions it. There are plenty of events that happen and stay between the people who witness them. I saw the coolest thing underway once. A meteor burning up and breaking apart in the sky. This was seen on radar and verified topside. I thought people would be talking about how cool it was the next day, but nothing. Same thing happened with an actual unidentified lights event, heard about that at a watch turnover and never heard about it again.
Gary Voorhis is also adamant 2 Air Force Officers landed by helicopter and confiscated the brick off the E-2C Hawkeye carrying all the latest data from the CEC system. I believe him and Kevin. The Commander of the Fleet, Captain Robert Gilday wasn't sweating it. And then he got promoted 9 days later on November 23, 2004. That helicopter obviously came from San Clemente Island and that's where it returned. The Air Force had a presence there in 2004. I'm positive of that fact. Obviously, the Air Force had deconflicted their operations with the Navy CNO, who at the time would have been Admiral Vernon E. Clark, and was radar spoofing the Nimitz Strike Group with the latest Electronic Warfare Systems/UAS tech. That's why the UFO Community feels like it's screaming in the ears of deaf Military Officials. At a high level, they know this event (not all of them) are properly cleared operations associated with Unacknowledged, Waived Special Access Programs that legally can never be discussed let alone identified. This account reeks of Clandestine Military involvement. And Kevin Day is left trying to square a circle that just doesn't make sense to him. Even Captain Gilday and CNO ADM Clark, while complicit with the live test, would not have actually been brought into a SCIF and formally "read into" the Project. All they needed to know was this was US Military Black Budget Tech attempting to confound his best and brightest that day. And that it wasn't foreign adversarial or representative of a genuine threat. That's all these guys needed to know. And I feel bad for Kevin. Because nobody in the military seems to either believe him or take such an obvious threat seriously. But then again, that's my whole point. The military dupes it's men and women everyday in the name of National Security and the greater good. At the highest level, from their 30,000 ft view, it's deemed necessary and not intended to be a middle finger to anyone. Anyways, that's my view.

These things are not friendly, they are here to do something on our planet and our consent is not required. The governments have made contact with them and an agreement was made to keep them covered up and minimize exposure so that they can do whatever it is they are doing with minimal interruption. The reason is they gave us two choices : Work for them and they will ignore us, or don't and they will use force to prevent us interfering.

I once told a work colleague as a youth l didn't believe in aliens ghosts etc but now as an old man I've been seeing such objects all my life. They have three things in common, they can reach fantastic speeds apparently without acceleration, are completely silent and can become invisible. Not of this world. A variety of discs and spheres.

We have been observed since forever by the same entities that created us... 'Let us make man in our image'. I, along with others, seen 2 similar craft on the outskirts of Sydney back in 1966. I want the DoD to publish a comprehensive report on this event. Share the raw data. Multiple radar operators and multiple pilots, through FLIR and through their eyes, saw the same thing. The event lasted days. Either this event did not occur at all, or it did, and there is no human answer. It has been 20 years. Make public the data.
There were multiple witnesses.
They are not going to make something up that makes them look crazy, which was verified by multiple radar witnesses. The pilots and others are professional, trained observers.
