what makes me bored to do Guild Hall Quest to get the High Rank/G rank is gathering quest and the GH Quest and main quest are likely same. For example Main Quest LV 4 is the same as HR 2 quest or should i say GH Quest is hard mode of Main Quest That's why it's taking so long to get the G rank quest
I'm working on a GS video, hammer was incredibly fast and easy in general, though there was a couple of rough spots as well, just the KO mostly makes it very consistent and fast, GS is pretty comparable, but without the KO.
There is a 4* elder quest called "Attack of the Giant Bugs!" That has you kill 20 Hornetaurs, and spawns them all over the map. Do that one, and kill every hornetaur with poison smoke bombs. th-cam.com/video/IGuMuGDTWiY/w-d-xo.html I go over farming hornetaurs in both 2* and 4* village elder here, if you're in or past 4*, then don't do the 2* quest, the 4* one is better, but I offer some tips on how to make the grind more managable. tl;dw don't just wait for them to die from poison, hit them once with something that doesn't kill them, then use the poison bombs on them. Good luck.
Ah I'm using the Garuga set myself at the moment. Missing some jewels I want but pretty decent defense (no longer wearing paper thin battle set yay). I'm really struggling to get Rathian Spikes (need 2 for Sieglinde). Does the Attack of the Rathian (Hub 2*) award these or should I go for a harder quest to get them?
Hey that's great to hear 😄 oof, well I do know that the first two stars do not give you all of the materials from the monsters in them, the game says: "Level 1 and 2 Quests are primarily for practice against weaker monsters and are on the same level as Quests from the Village Chief. [...] these quests (are) great for the inexperienced or just for some practice. [...] compared to Quests level 3 and above, the monsters here are weaker and you will not likely acquire high quality materials. That is why there is no real need to initiate these Quests. If you trust in your skills, you can aim for higher level Quests." I'm not sure what materials you can and can't get from 1 and 2 star guild hall quests, but if you can't get something from the village quests that you're on, you should just wait until you fight the monster in the village tbh, or just fight them in the village. It's your call. The gathering hall quests will have more health and may do more damage since they're meant to be taken on by multiple players, but it's definitely still possible.

Monster Bone+ are pretty annoying, I'm pretty sure you can get them from Garuga, or Rathalos, but I'm not 100% sure, they're pretty uncommon I think, but I can't find many online sources on it, sorry.
Hammer does stupid levels of damage, and KO allows you to just deal it all in one chunk. The golfswing in particular has a motion value of 100. That's ONE. HUNDRED. Meaning (before taking into consideration hitzones) you are doing 100% of your damage with that attack. Which is just absurd. The greatsword's Level 3 charge has a motion value of 110, but you can KO monsters with the hammer, and notice how I got 3 golfswings in on rathian, that's, in total counting the other hits in the combo, 516% of my damage, before hitzones/sharpness modifiers/etc. Which is just insane, you can't, usually, reliably do the same with level 3 charges with GS. Like ReaperDestt and DivinePhoenix901 said though yeah, it's a multi monster hunt, so each will have less HP than if it were a single hunt, even still, if it was just one monster, while it wouldn't be trivial, it'd still be quite fast.
Why i a normal Dragon Rathalos can still fight blindly due to flash bomb but Kushala Daora as an Elder Dragon gets stunned with flash bomb. For Balancing i guess
Flash bombs work the same on Kushala as it does for Rathalos. Also Rathalos is a wyvern because it has two legs and wings, dragons have four legs with wings, usually. But that's just semantics lol, I'm only putting it here just in case you or someone who reads this wanted to know.
The armor skill is Earplug or High Grade Earplug, activated through "HearProtct" monsterhunter.fandom.com/wiki/Armor_Skill_List_(MHFU) Each monster with a roar will require one of those two skills, Rathalos and Rathian (are not Dragons by the way) only require regular earplugs, which you can get through the Yian Garuga armor, getting the Garuga Mask in particular is quite helpful. Don't use jewels unless you're wearing armor that already has some of the armor skill on it, or 1. you'll need to get 10 or 15 of them, which will be VERY annoying, and 2. you'll need 10-15 slots in total, which is extremely impractical.
Sheathe your weapon and dive. Diving happens when you try to roll while running away from a monster, your character will do a different "panic" run when you do, and your stamina drains faster. Dodge while doing that and you'll dive, it has a ton of i-frames and is extremely useful.

Sometimes. I don't want to rank up or do multiplayer stuff until I finish with low rank singleplayer though. After that, maybe I'll do some low rank stuff every now and then, same thing with once I finish high rank, and since G rank is gathering hall only............. not sure... I guess I'll still try and solo it... maybe..... I dunno. I was thinking I'd just try and get people to help me get hunting footage. We'll see lol
Well, if you can, don't fight them in one area. If you have to fight them in one area (such as the arena) bring smoke bombs, make sure the smoke bombs are always active, and you should be able to fight them one at a time, besides that, try using flash bombs and/or traps to disable them to give you some breathing room. Once you beat one, the fight becomes much less problematic, right? So do whatever it takes to make sure one is defeated as soon as possible, then you can relax and take your time with the remaining one.
By killing Diablos. Specifically, I made the monoblos hammer (Diablos Maul) then upgraded from there, but if you don't have Elder Dragon Bones, then you can just upgrade normally. Here's the path: Bone Club > Cyclo-Hammer > Skullcrusher > Skullcrusher+ > Diablos Maul > Finishing Hammer You can get Hercudromes from the volcano region.
what? I'm not sure what you're asking, but I didn't use any cheats or mods etc. For the main guide series up to Ukanlos except for an HP Display here and there, and never during hunts. After Ukanlos I use FU Complete and a "cheat" (mod) to add all of the granny peddlers items to a cat in the guild hall, for convenience. It also adds all dlc and all of the event quests at the same time, which is hellin poggers.

Wow, I had no idea just how limited the Rath's move pool was back then. I started with Tri so I just assumed they always had the same moves.
In MH World, they're just suspended in the air and can be trivialized with Claw.
