Ooh lovely Peony dress definitely more wedding guest dress, it will look just as beautiful in the teal rose fabric can’t wait to see it xx
Thank you. Yes, I think it will look amazing for winter actually xx
You definitely made the right decision about the toile dress, Laura. Your second attempt was much more weddingy! I made that word up!
Definitely weddingy, Liz! Thank you for watching.
Great tip about doubling over the fabric for the sleeve flounce, I hadn't thought of this!
I got the idea from watching Rachel from Stitched Up, not on this dress but generally on these kinds of flounces.
Love your peony dress its stunning ❤
Thank you so much Suzanne. I love its versatility.
Oh Laura, you look lovely in your Peony Dress. I’d been on the fence on it since it came out, but now I’m looking into this further! Thanks for your inspiration, and all your very detailed vlogs to date. Happy Sewing, Susan x
Thank you so much, Susan. It’s a lovely pattern. Christine from Gemini Stitches has just made it too. I’m glad you enjoy my blogs - thank you! Happy sewing, Laura x
I have the Peony dress pattern and I have made up my mind to sew this for my birthday this year after seeing your video. A really thoughtful critique of the two patterns. Thank you
Thank you! It’s a lovely pattern and a fun sew. I hope you have a fabulous birthday wearing it.
Love the peony dress, think the green would look lovely in the peony
Thank you, Angela. I am definitely going to do the dress again in the green.
Great effort. I laughed in empathy over the stress of the iron and returning home. You are being real and I appreciate that. ❤️
Plus changing your mind mid project and then rushing at the end. Phew ! 😅
Thank you! Yes, it wasn’t the best start to the trip! I’m glad I changed my mind though, rush though it was.
What a stunning dress, that fabric is so special! Beautiful, congratulations. (As for the iron, time to buy a smart plug, save having to return home!)
Thank you! I could probably do with an iron that just turns itself off for sure!
xXXX👍👍👍
Thank you, Victoria xxx
