The one thing I've heard is with the s/s ring if anything goes wrong you will have to replace the impeller and ring but with the plastic or nylon ring you just have to replace the ring only.
Sea-Doos are assembled in a small town in Mexico..ever since the Canadian company moved the manufacturing company there....Sea Doos have had a lot of assembly problems...
The holes you sprayed you should blow those out with that Compressed air too because the Loctite won’t hold Best Loctite I’ve found is the red gasket seal I call it the third hand
they put plastic wear rings in them because its softer and the object(rock,stick,etc) gets stuck in the plastic instead the surrounding metal and in turn tearing up bearings and other more costly things.also plastic wear rings are 1/8 to 1/2 price of s.s i did this first time and rebuilt jet pump at same time .took an hour to do it all
yes those splines should have been greased and that pump seal was pinched when installed. it really is crazy how much we spend on these things and then fine stuff assembled incorrectly. I am interested to see if the new impeller will effect take off and top speed. now you know the bolts are tight and its on there right.

Did the impeller and the stainless steel wear ring do well? I’ve been seeing a lot of bad reviews but I recently bought them and now I’m feeling a little nervous to put them on.
Bad gas with all the ethanol and stuff destroys those gas lines get rid of those first Especially when Ski sit for a while even using stable in the gas still happens

I changed out the wear ring myself on my RXTX. PITA for sure.

What do you call the yellow gasket you bought? I need to get one, but don't know what it is called.

Ricky Rivera Don’t put them on. If you look at his other videos the impeller ruined the area around the hull pretty badly.
