NECA Shipping Price Is CRAZY Ghost Ronin Turtles and Leatherhead

- NECA Just revealed their first to market, first to ship exclusive Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles The Last Ronin Ghost Turtles 3 Pack. To have this 99.99 dollar bundle of tmnt ronin ghosts shipped its 22.99. 23 dollars shipped! Why is NECA shipping so crazy? How can neca not get a better shipping deal? I understand that shipping has a cost and free shipping just means exploitation. But their shipping price is way too high. Also do we trust NECA to ship?
They also have the Mirage Comics Leatherhead, with his eye patch and all. he is 49.99. The figure looks amazing. It is also first to market first to ship exclusive.
What this means is NECA has it first and allegedly will ship it first, but it will be available at other retailers, historically the last ronin comic figures and mirage comics figures are all available broadly, they are not exclusive to neca you dont have to get these from neca.
The question is, with NECA still way behind and having trouble filling orders, many orders like the NYCC or SDCC first turtles or garbage man eastman still not shipped, will you actually get your ghost turtles early or should you just wait and get them from a retailer and save 23 dollars on shipping?

I dont want to buy in the Neca Store. I am from Spain and preordered the First Sketch turtles (and Last Ronin Leo and Raph first die too) and they not shipped my package yet (i wrote them and they always say "Shipping very soon"). Is that their usual system or they never Will send me the package? Really sucks, i love their products and I want that Leatherhead but really hate theis page.
From everyone else's experiences it seems this is their usual system. They're shipping in order fulfillment has been jacked up for a while and now it's super super jacked up so it's a big question whether you would even get them first from them before they hit other retailers
I'm definitely just going to wait till they show up at target. Screw their shipping fees. Plus lately there shipping has been on the rocks. I had to email to see what was up with my sdcc origins turtles. Then they shipped to the wrong address, luckily they finally got to me. Scary stuff going on over there.

I have not received my Last Ronin Leo, Splinter, or First to fall Raph. Everyone I’ve emailed them I get the shipping soon reply. For about 3 months now.

They're already repaints of "Naked Mikey" but yeah they will keep milking the mold. It's a really good figure imo so it's not such a bad thing

I like that Mikey mold muscle 💪 up. The way that set of ghost turtles set look alike. Also the different turtle shell 🐢. Was about to wrap it... Neca or a 3rd party should do a ghost smoke set display. Standing above shadow Michelangelo like the comics.

Their shipping is absolute bs, much like LooseCollector off their main page (They charge around $15 shipping for a SINGLE figure lol). Pure greed. Shipments of this size do NOT cost this much, plain and simple.
Yeah and with them being such a big player in the industry and the business they do on a mass scale they should have the ability to strike up a shipping contract that is much more favorable
As someone that just shipped a 4 pack and a 2 pack of Neca Turtles. This isn't far off from what it is to ship.
That said they should have a volume discount or already be including that in their prices.
@@AlanSmithee-h6q yeah if it's just shipping a package as an individual, it's gonna be pricey. Shipping has a cost. I'm not saying they should have free shipping. But 23 dollars, they have such a profoundly bad shipping relationship it's like they aren't even trying. Smaller shops can do like 10 dollar flat rate shipping even. I don't understand how neca bungles it so bad.
I’d view stuff like this as an investment if I were reviewing. How much more money do I make buying direct from NECA and getting the early review in versus waiting for wide release and not getting hosed on shipping? When EE gets it in stock, that’s $98 to your door including tax.
Also, will you actually get it first ordering direct? Some people still haven’t gotten their Last Ronin figures or Mirage 4-packsfrom NECA and they’ve already been clearanced out and NECA liquidated stock that didn’t sell in mystery boxes without ever fulfilling all their direct orders.
That is the issue. Will you actually get it first. With Neca that is far from guaranteed, it's not even guaranteed you'll get it in a timely manner. Or at all. It's crazy that somehow one of the worst places to get Neca figures, is directly from NECA. Both in price and quickness
Welcome to my pain of living 1 hour from the border but have to pay $32 shipping for this - and it’s way worse depending what it is . The street dio $93, the SOFUBI TMNT figures were $43 each and they were shipping from CHINA so literally the same distance from the USA - it’s bonkers!
So this $22 is really nothing in my world and after all these tariffs announced it’s just going to get worse I’m afraid
That is totally ridiculous. You make a good point what is the actual difference shipping from China to me. Or China to you. It shouldn't cost anything different. Shipping, import costs etc are totally ridiculous
Well if you ask me having delt with NECAs horrible shipping times, you more than likely wont see these items till at the least mid 2025, its really sad that we have to pay these crazy prices just for bad wait times. I ordered the last ronin leo and it didn't arrive until 4 months later and thats not considering the figure was already released. There pre order times are extremely bad 😅
Yeah... More than a few times I've seen Neca preorders pop up in stores or AliExpress long before they ship them out themselves

I just received my first turtles and first to fall Raph but I order Leo and splinter too and wasn’t in the box 🤦.I’ve email them that it wasn’t complete and to my surprise they emailed me back sooo hopefully they leads to actual good customer service.

They had all of them in stock and ready to ship, but now splinter is sold out and I got my Alien Romulus stuff before the FTF Raph, Splonter, and Leo. Just don’t make any sense.
Yeah. It's in NJ. I'm in MD and if I were to drive there and back (directly) it would cost more via tolls and gas. They probably charge NJ residents the same price. Neca likes money and our inconvenience to attain their products. PS: They might try to threaten you at any given time... best customer service model ever!🙄🤪🤪

I don't know if im the only one who's been screwed over but BBTS has been horrible with pre orders, i pre-ordered the Last Ronin Casey Jones and never received it and i know it's been released, hasn't it?
Yeah Last Ronin Casey Jones has been out for quite a while. They can be very notorious for being extremely slow to get things. Though in this case it could be mainly in part to NECA not being able to provide product.

@stillfirebellows neca has been an impressive spectical. Super7 doesn't seem to have any design iteration kind of QC process in place to weed out issues

I used to get lots of stuff from Ebay, but often times the shipping fee costs more than the item, so it doesn't seem worth it.
