Ok. I just listened to this. You truly are encouraging. Encouragement is what we all need not feeling forced or enslaved to anything in life..including fitness. And fitness is hugely important to our health. Both physically and mentally!! Thank you!❤😊

    Matt's Wisdom:
Muscular tension leads to a stimulus that encourages adaptation for an environment of muscle strength, growth and endurance.
    That's the objective 💪💪💪

I used to bike and loved it. I slowed down from it then developed health issues. This past summer i picked it up again. I try to control hypertension with my meds and techniques with the Holden guy. Im new but wanting to listen to your ideas for fitness too. Tim...Ohio.

I think the truly insidious part of this is that it reaches teens. Planting that insecurity early. It’s so pervasive that even with “good” fitness channels, the bias is there. Hell, I think Bald Omni Man and you are the only two channels that really embrace the “who cares, just train, and problem solve for yourself” message.

Blind following is same as worship, it is sherk/idolatry, and it is bad for you. The Truth is above all, follow your heart and logic and reason. Thank you Matt.

I get the machismo thing from people because I do trap bar dead lifting and I don't go too heavy. I weigh around 170-175lbs and I don't go heavier than 1.5x my body weight and I usually stick to 3-5 sets in the 8-12 rep range depending on weight.

    Thank you for uploading.
I had to re-learn this myself after weight training this past year, which has led me to purposely take time off (4 weeks tomorrow).

Good meat Matt. And people should explore new methods. I just got into rings late this year. Fun stuff.

I wish I’d had this advice to follow on a few occasions.
Is there a Christmas tree or something off camera?
