Chris Stuckmann reviews Red 2, starring Bruce Willis, John Malkovich, Mary-Louise Parker, Anthony Hopkins, Helen Mirren, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Byung Hun Lee, Brian Cox and Neal McDonough. Directed by Dean Parisot. - บันเทิง
Super rare, but I have to disagree with Stuckmann on this one. _RED_ was hilarious and a great film. The sequel was also very good. Super interested to see where they go with the planned _RED 3_.
Red 2 was such a forced film, the best thing about the sequel was Anthony Hopkins
Supo A
Lol, have to agree actually. I wrote this comment before I rewatched the sequel.
Ultimately, the second film felt like an excuse to get these funny, enjoyable characters back because we liked them so much. Otherwise, it felt unnecessary and a bit tired.
Both Red and Red 2 are in my opinion better than the Expendables. Hellen Mirren is badass.
I absolutely loved the first red movie
+SmashtasticGaming Same here
SmashtasticGaming same
Me too
Have to disagree with you Chris, this movie is pretty good. I would give it a 7/10.
Had to disagree on the first RED i loved it
it is possible to like bad movies.
Don't agree with you on this on Stuckmann, I thought it was loony and hilarious in a best possible way.
it is stil a bad movie, it is possible to like bad movies.
.............Alright, That was a good one it made me laugh. BTW say hi to your mother for me.
The FLICK Pick I’m glad John likes it
I actually love the first one (own it) & I really liked the second one
Bruce Willis will always be David Addison to me.
Rocking those glasses Chris, great review!
You know what I like about your reviews Chris is you're always firm with your opinion but you never hate on films unnecessarily and you always cover all your bases, great work man
chris so if you were to choose between RED 2 and grown ups 2 which would you recommend i see?
Is that Golden Eye in your N64 ?
I liked it, but saw it more as a comedy than an action film. Malkovich was great.
Lets just say this weekend of calabs between Flick and Stuckman was the best couple of youtube videos in along time! Definitely do it again soon!
I love all the toys in your background. It's like the 90's never left.
First red was awesome. Same with the whole nine yards and ten yards.
This is one movie where I will absolutely ditch what anyone says. I loved the first one and these ones will rule too.
nice new channel icon!
I really like the first one, the characters were great and i liked the story alot more than i did with the Expendables.
how do saw this movie
That picture of Anthony Hopkins is priceless!
I would like see you do a Bond 50 review thanks.
Chris I know your a busy man and I apologize in advance but I need your help. I've being doing youtube for about a year now trying to review games from a one arm persons perspective, with the occasional anime and movie review when I have time. Currently I'm at 166 subs and i'm just trying to get better at my reviews while being as myself as possible. However I can't discern if I'm doing something wrong on my channel, content or otherwise. Do you have any advice on what i could do to fix this?
In my personal opinion I thought Red 2 was better then the 1st part.
Like the glasses Chris ;)
will have to disagree with stuckmann but this movie seemed like a roller coaster ride and in contrary to chris' opinion sarah was the most enjoyable character in this movie. should have got an A- in my opinion.
good review chirs i may just rent this one.
I gotta say I really enjoyed the first film. I thought it was really fun and pretty cleverly done. I'm a little unsure about this sequel after your review though, Chris.
How do you get to see many movies so early?
Awesome glasses.
Chris can you please do another review on one of your favourite movies?
Im still seeing it. It looks fun
I like both movies just the same. They are really good, favorite character is marvin Boggs played by john Malkovich.
I totally agree. Chris Stuckmann is very much the Roger Ebert of the digital age. He's fantastic. He's quite handsome, as well.
Very nice glasses, sir!
I Really enjoyed the first Red, I loved John Malkovich and the fight scene between Willis and Karl Urban was awesome to watch. But I do see how it can be average.
The first RED for me, did had some good action parts and amazing cast of actors but just feel that some comedy was hit or miss and just found myself forgetting it straight after my first viewing, it probably happened again with this sequel. Thanks for your insight into film :) I’ll save my money.
Awesome review!
IS THAT METAL GEAR ?????? I FUCKING RESPECT YOU AND LOVE YOU
RED(2010) was great!
anyone notice most of his videos end at around 3:40? Why?
Chris, you have to see "la grande beilleza" i dont know when if it is realissed in the us but you have to see it
i enjoyed the first one, second one i havent seen yet how did u see it early Chris
You are definitely right in saying there are some unnecessary sequels. I would still like to see Red 2 but I'm not expecting much from it.
You should move something in the background during one if your cut edits. See if anyone notices.
i like your glasses chris
I agree with you about the first one Chris. I haven't seen this movie and thanks to your review I'm going to save my money and skip it. I could sort of guess what the problems would be with this one.
i'll wait for it to be on netflix or on demand
Can you review the way way back I really think it looks good
Why do I keep finding movies you watch that are sequels, but no reviews of the first one. Lol
I liked your glasses.
I see it as 3 ratings. The good(7,8,9), the descent(4,5,6), and then the bad(1,2,3) and each number is the level strength of that grade.
and nice new glasses!
I liked this movie. 6/10. Quite good, but not solid.
I am still looking forward to this movie cause of the cast and director Dean Parisot who has done great stuff.
All three movies Bruce Willis starred in this yerar were sequels. I really don't remember much about Red. Hadn't seen it since I saw it in theaters.
film festivals or press screenings
I like them both very much.
The first Red was a decent movie. I didn't think it was as good as everyone was saying it was. I kept having this thought in the back of my head that, since this movie had sort of an "older" cast, it would've been hilarious if they had used an actor/actress such as Barbra Streisand or Harry Belafonte. An older star whose not really known for action films would make for an interesting movie...
Is Chris still there John?
I thought the first one was great. It was just a cool action flick, it wasn't trying to be anything more, and they did really well with it in that sense. It was basically the secret agent version of The Expendables, and I honestly enjoyed it more. In my opinion, Red was a great movie.
Too bad you had to leave John, you guys were a great duo!
The first was fine, but this always seemed unnecessary.
Waiting for “The One “Hilariocity review
I thought Red was good and I doubt I will see Red 2 in the theater. I will definitely see Wolverine in the theater and I'm going in fresh. I like your glasses and your new profile photo is better than the last one.
Strong words, there.
I love the first one has fun entertainment. I'd give it an 8. This one was entertaining, and I found myself laughing quite a bit in the first half, but RED was better. Red 2: Funnier/Red: Better.
Review the killing fields. You'll be glad you did.
Hmm, I remember enjoying RED when I saw it in the theatre, but I cannot actually remember the plot much. Bad guys trying to kill old guys
Chris Stuckmann/Flick Pick have a 13 point system, Jeremyjahns has a 6 point system, & Schmoes have a rating system so dynamic that they add decimals to their scores, so what's the problem with mine?
The first Red didn't do it for me, but the only thing going for me in the sequel is Anthony Hopkins. Other than that not a movie I'm really looking forward to.
I disagree. It's a fun movie that knows what it is.
Chris please review Irreversible please.
Personally, I thought the first one was fantastic, more so as a comedy than an action movie. I loved the characters, especially that of John Malkovich, which is the main reason I'm looking forward to the new one, even though before seeing it, I have to agree that a sequel does seem kind of unnecessary, and I highly doubt if it will be as good as its predecessor.
I felt the first one was boring and a complete waste of talent. Except for Morgan Freeman, cause he is a god. So are you, Chris, i see you as being a younger version of Roger Ebert, may he rest in piece. Great review as usual!
Nice glasses.
Are you seeing Only God Forgives any time soon?
Red the movie is so different from the Warren Ellis comic. They might as well have called it blue.
I actually liked the first Red movie, yet idk how I feel about the Red 2 right now
One of the very few times I disagree with Chris (who in fact grew up with Bruce Willis) I really enjoyed Red and Red2,still hoping for a Red3..
Review Sharknado!
i liked the first red
Holy shit those are my glasses.
He already reviewd it...
the original red film is my personal favorite action film of all time and is in my top ten films ever my favorite two are the original Italian job and the original get carter
i actually really liked RED. never EVER thought of helen mirren as a bad-ass action star but she pulled it off effortlessly. i laughed so hard at john malkovich's bomb scene that i'm still laughing. bruce willis' romance at the beginning was simultaneously funny and touching, and he's a great straightman to malkovich. and well, i just think karl urban is awesome no matter what. :) so i'm anxious to see RED2, but i do think mary-louise parker is going to annoy me this time around.
am looking on Wikipedia and they already talking about working on a third Red movie , smh
I have that same shirt! :D
i thought people would know this by now (im not trying to be a dick, im just a little surprised that people still dont know).
He is a certified critic and certified critics are quite able to be allowed in early screenings. I saw this one person who was able to get an early screening of pacific rim back in late May. So thats how.
Nice glasses. ;)
Late night review. Raddddd
Do a review of R.I.P.D
I remember really enjoying the first film. Shame to hear this one isn't so good.
So it's a popcorn pleaser
Review children of man its a very overlooked film
Is no one going to talk about the glasses?
i do ......
Liked... may or may not have been because of glasses.
Liked the first one.
God Dame he look young
