I did the alternative objective by beating goku and Vegeta quickly and took the south branch for the alternate timeline. But the whole time I though it was the main timeline. So when I went back to unlock the other path. I thought I had to beat goku and Vegeta even quicker than I did. I was starting to think it’s humanly impossible. I’ve fought them like 50 times not realising that all I need to survive the battle, not beat them quicker. 💀
There’s one last one as well if you parry the move that he does when he stabs you… when you are at a certain health trunks will come in and he will finish you but you win and it finishes the story

I can not beat both of them in time, even using this strat, I guess it really is a skill issue. Every time I actually beat them, the transition dialogue was playing, so it doesn't count.😢
@@victorygamezaj4939 damn idk man. I usually just fly to the ceiling at the start of the game. Wait till can go sparking and spam the square auto combo. And hit them with the ult when the sparking gauge is early empty and just repeat it.
They knocked the ever loving shit out of me multiple times lol... The rest of the game has been smooth sailing. Normal difficulty, OG controls. Loving the game. I'm kind of glad the Goku black saga is this much more challenging. At the end of the day it really makes sense.
For anyone curious the top right branch isn’t part of the story for this arc. In the fight you have to stall out vegito and survive the dialogue. After the dialogue between zamasu and vegito ends there will be a long silence. Then trunks will swap in. Wait for him to start charging up to his sparking state and stand far away. To guard he hits you spam light attacks from a distance
@@Saurus88 so I know why for me it’s the mission where you play as purple merged zamasu you have to beat vegito then let trunks hit you with a final hope slash
Might I just add in regards to receiving a final hope slash from trunks, DO NOT just stand still and wait for it. Standing still for some reason initiates a block. I got so excited when I saw trunks reaching for his sword, i had finally done it… only to end up blocking it by not doing anything 🤦♂️😂 My advice? Charge up when you see him going for the sword. It should connect. Love the game but it’s so dumb relying on the CPU to do something specific to move you forward. I had a few attempts where trunks just kept hitting final flash instead 😩 and I wish they were specific about time limits and maybe even offered an on screen timer. Had my phone running along side it for some missions 😂
You need to fight vegito till trunks switches and finishes you off with his ultimate skill, which will do 99999 DMG. Do not try to defeat trunks. Credit: SilversRayTV

@@nightdrawer4036 I think we have to beat the ultimate story again , the ultimate fusion I beat it and it unlocked the next story on top , then u go to the sin,god, and punishment to best goku , I’m using the dragon orb to make the mission easier to beat , u get it from Sharon , hopefully I helped

The RNG is bad for this mission when trunks try’s to use his ultimate i automatically guard or block it and the dialogue is waaay too long
