WTAF Channel 29 - Rock World - "Rockin' Tape Problem" (Technical Difficulties, 1980)

Though it's from Philly TV, it's still neat - here's a technical difficulties moment during an episode of Rock World on WTAF Channel 29 out of Philadelphia. We interrupt a two-fer of Tim Curry's 1980 musical forays - "I Do The Rock" followed by "Paradise Garage", with one of the best technical difficulties cards I've seen in a while.
This aired on local Philadelphia TV early Saturday, July 12th 1980.

That's a great "Stand By" card from earlier in the Taft era, before the logo change. I tell tell this is an actual aircheck, as there is some UHF ghosting on that "29." Probably recorded on an early top-loading VHS or Betamax with a clicky analog UHF tuner attached to antenna!

I believe the 29 logo (Windsor font) was from 1973-1978. In 1979, the logo was changed.

You're right. The slide was also brand new at the time. WTAF had an earlier TD card that had the words "Please Stand By- Network Problem" (same font) with a very unique rainbow effect on a black screen.
