A lot of people think that if you hit a ball say 1ft over the fence when the measurement on the wall there says 314ft than they think it's a 315ft HR.That is incorrect.You have to take into consideration the height of the fence and the height above field level too.The ball looked like it landed about 320ft from home plate but the landing spot was probably 12 ft above field level, therefore they got the 327ft measurement.Do you see what im saying? If he only hit it 315 to 320ft the ball is going to hit the fence and still be in play because you still have to clear that 8 to 10 ft wall.

@@brandondillman5841 No HR ever drops straight down.The only way a ball drops straight down is on a pop-up at home plate to the catcher.Even with that exit trajectory the ball is going to be coming down like a fly out to the outfield which is always at an angle .A side view from the right field corner in foul territory would show that the ball was still carrying, albeit for a very short distance but that was only 13ft! Did you think the Ball only went like 315-318ft? I'm just curious
