Thanks for watching! For the most part I only included plays that happened in the 9th inning or later, with the exception of a few throwbacks at the end 🙂
'It's gonna be up to Bo Jackson to try to stop Reynolds from scoring...he can't do it. YES HE CAN!!'😮😮 That line will never grow old for me...and look at that tag...freeze @ 15:25 or thereabouts. No argument, that's as out as out can be. 😁😁
Arms are impressive. Besides a sliding on your stomach robbing catch throwing people out was my favorite thing to do defensively… but some of the slides are awful. Regardless… super impressive. Don’t test these boys!
Why does the announcer say “a strike thrown by Vladimir Guerrero Junior to get the out at the plate…”? (0:08) He didn’t throw a strike he threw a ball and the guy hit A ground ball to the first baseman who got the batter out and then threw the ball to the home plate and got the second out. Am I missing something?
It's just a saying that goes along with a perfect throw from a fielder, as in the throw was so precise that it would have been a "strike" if it were a pitch
The commentary on the final clip shows the ignorance of the commentators. On the play, the third-base umpire has to go to the outfield to rule on a catch or trap. The home plate umpire rotates to third to cover any potential call at the base. The first base umpire, who would have nothing to rule on at first on such a play, rotates to the plate to cover any potential call there. "Out of position" is just a stupid comment from someone who doesn't know baseball.
@@SteamedPickles If you watch the previous clip from 14:06 you'll see a perfect example of similar umpire rotation, because they do this all the time. The commentator mentioned that the first-base umpire was the one who made the call at home in the final clip, calling him out of position by 90 feet, so he was there, just not in our view.
@@arinerm1331 I've been umpiring for over 15 years and this is a play that is always brought up when we use 3 or 4-man mechanics. This was a missed rotation by the 1st base umpire. Once the plate umpire rotates up to 3rd base, the 1st base umpire has to rotate home. He did not.....I guess he wasn't expecting there to be a close play at the plate. Bo had other plans, LOL.
First base umpire didn't get there. He failed to make his rotation, so the plate umpire made the out call from 3rd base area. I'm sure he has a ton of words for the guy who missed his rotation.

Ok thanks for telling me
It's funny watching the runners reaction when they get thrown out. "Damn, they got me." 😅😅😅
I NEED A PART 2. These are my favorite especially with the game on the line
6:40 was at that game. That play was so hype and the stadium was just so loud
I love this type of play! One of the most spectacular in baseball!
Not enough people talk about how crazy that Vince Velasquez outfield assist is.
Based on situation and all that it’s one of the coolest plays ever. Position player pitching, pitcher playing a position. Unreal
For a pitcher with not much outfield experience, that's a crazy and impressive play
Man Nootbar has a rocket throw
Fax and Tyler O’Neil
Haha, nootbar
No one can out run a baseball. They are so good it’s ridiculous
That throw by Céspedes is so nuts 😂
this compilation is epic for real
moral of the story: always listen to the third base coach.

Great video! This is a great compilation and I love the Cespedes clip. The first time I saw that clip I was like “holy shit, that’s incredible!”
2:09 is a crazy send
I agree
if only siri wasn't slowing down, he could have possibly made it
Nothing better then a perfectly executed cut off throw
14:09 iconic
11:50, why the hell was Jack Flaherty THE PITCHER running?
9:35. Love that Dick Brememer was so surprised and excited that he turned into an 11 year old for a second.

He’s just using that instead of “hard thrown ball” or “a line drive”
What about collisions at the plate
They are taught to run aggressively is because they have to make a perfect throw.
The pirates 19th inning throwout at home should be in this... oh wait
