Well i did. I installed Dragon OS and with my rtl sdr v4 everything worked more than fine. On Windows, on my other PC, there are lots of configs to do and when it works it’s fine but with Dragon OS the v4 is configured out of the box so no configs to do. I love Kali linux but too much trouble to make it work rapidly. I am new to sdr and I realy want to focus on learning it instead of debugging stuff with installs and drivers. Honestly, Dragon OS is the only operating system that is working out of the box with rtl sdr v4. I even installed it on one of my pi4 and worling like a charm. Good luck!
en el mio solo aparece Realtek SemiConductor Corp. Realtek Bluetooth 4.2 Adapter, como se puede solucionar en kali 2024.2 instalado en virtualbox, alguien puede ayudarme porfavor
I installed the drivers, rebooted, the device is seen by Kali but will not connect. I get a console error, no network connection and no WLAN0. Can you show the config steps for network ?
Have you tried unplugging it and test it on another USB port? If that still doesn't work check your cable isn't damaged and make sure your computers usb ports are working. . . If these are OK you may have a problem with the device . . . If you can test it on another machine then that will be a big help
While going thru the process right before updating the dependencies, my monitor went black. Now i just have a black screen with a mouse cursor. Any idea what happened?
Are ypu running this in virtual box 📦 or vmware or some other virtual environment? If not it sounds like there has been a driver issue. It's not a problem I've encountered yet but I'm willing to have a look into it for you .
@Xclub40X no Sir I'm just running it on a raspberry pi 4b with the operating system that came on it. I'm very new to all this. I believe something just timed out because it came back on and installed and working great. Thank you for the video and getting me started. I'll be watching from now on.
You can get kali linux onto a raspberry pi. . . . That might be worth a look at too. . . I'll probably do a video on that at some point . . . . And appre mate you joining the channel. Hopefully you subscribe and tune in for more. 🥰

That driver doesnt support 3.0 usb (I'm not sure) You should have a specific driver for the rtl8814au
Worked Awesome, Thanks!

It's showing up on lsusb but I am not finding it after the sudo ifconfig command. Any idea on what's up? I'm using virtual box to run kali

But how to install drivers if we don't have internet on the computer ? It's the goal to obtain internet
If i were to install the driver on a laptop , would the adaptor work on a raspberry pi then ?
No you will have to install it on the raspberry pi if you want to use it with the pi
@@Xclub40Xcool thanks for your reply , I might hold out as I'm getting a laptop
@user-yi5ov9os4s you're welcome 😊
