Wait wait wait, what's going on at 9:25? How does Aramusha keep attacking after his light is blocked? He doesn't have enhanced light attacks so it should just end the chain, no?
@CODBFACify yea its crazy right?? Little stuff like that I feel should have been explained properly. But I did found out recently that enhanced lights are basically the reasons characters like warmonger lights can just keep adding pressure, even if you block. Normally blocks interrupt lights and can't interrupt heavies, but all enhanced moves that are light or heavy don't get interrupted because they share the same property
@@zerocents4658very time I try ring the bell it feels really slow and I get interrupted I gotta use the zone more, it just seems his easy to read even for a higher than average player( it also costs a lot of Stam)
@@hamzab1030 If you keep getting read on doing Ring The Bell, do a heavy feint into GB if the enemy dodges. If the enemy interrupts you during your heavy opener with a light, try letting the heavy fly or feinting it to parry the light. And yea, zone drains a lot of stam but you should only use it when the enemy doesn't expect it. Nova King sparingly uses zones in this video and doesn't spam. Aramusha's front dodge heavy is also a solid opener and has so many options. You could: - Feint it to get a gb - soft feint into ring the bell - Only feint it to catch dodge attacks - Or let it simply fly and blade blockade an enemy's dodge attack
@@zerocents4658thanks I always forget about front heavy For the openers though I am on ps4 with a tv so parrying lights is difficult unless I make a hard read I will try feinting into blockade I’ve also found that letting a side heavy fly can catch empty dodges but it’s rare Thanks for the tips though 👊🏼 maybe I’ll main him once I get a ps5 especially since people barely play duels/brawls in my region
ngl. aramusha blocade is such a crunch. i mean. you are getting a completly free recovery cancel that also stop any move even if its enchanced or have hyper armor. no other allguard can do that
@@tommyha5248 the difference is that both Kyoshin and BP recovery cancel does not interrupt superior light or heavy attack. You can still continue chain after hitting their blocks. If you hit Aramusha block with anything that is not unlockable he will interrupt your chain
I feel you, but blade blockade is mad punishable. Like, it's not good to keep throwing out lights in a chain, or even in neutral if the ara can react and blockade right? That's when you test them if they are reacting to animations or the indicator. If they are reacting to the red indicator, then that's when you throw out a heavy and feint it to see if they spam blockade. The moment you see that blockade animation, guard break him because he still has to finish the bb animation before he can do anything else. Now, if they are reacting to animations, I'm assuming what I said before still works...but since I'm theory crafting here, you're gonna have to open him up another way that won't involve lights or heavies. You gonna have to open up the ara with unblockable bashes, unblockable attacks, or guard breaks. They won't be able to block or blade blockade through them right? Then going for committed unblockables will likely land, and if they don't then that's fine; you can now put them in a situation where they are either gonna parry the ublockable or dodge the unblockable and in some cases light through the unblockable. So if they try to parry or dodge the unblockable, this is where you can feint to guard break, because guard break covers their parry attempt and a dodge - even if they delay the dodge or go too early. Now, If they can react to the unblockable bashes and unblockable attacks, even to the point of calling out your bluff, don't worry - no human is going to guess 100% all the time. This is where you can get them use to the unblockables, and mix in guard breaks, letting them fly, or just feinting and see what they do, maybe even sneak in a light after you feint the unblockable. It might even hit because you have your opponent in a mindset where he has to guess the right option. So pick the option that covers whatever he was gonna do to avoid getting got, and the next time you have him in that same scenario, pick a different option that covers his new option, or just keep repeating the sake option - you gotta feel them out and see what their prone to doing.
All of the characters are playing the same game. What you do vs one character, can work against another - its just that some characters can do specific things in certain situations that allow them to escape the situation you put them in - and even when that's the case, you can still find a way to adapt to what they did and pick an option that covers what they did to escape the same situation you put them in last time. It's weird....it's a guessing game, but once you keep track of their habits or what they like to do in x situation, you know they are likely to do it in y situation and you can pick the best option that covers both x and y scenarios.

OoS block doesn't interrupt chains, and that includes light chains
