TheDailyWoo I have never had the privilege of visiting Disney. Your videos show me setting that has been just out of my reach and I thank you kind sir. Please keep sharing.
I had a blast last night man! It was an honor to hang. Those photographs in the restaurant are so cool. That was a great vid, I’ll keep my eye out for this stuff the next time im there
Any Disney park is so loaded with entertainment, one does get caught up in the ambiance and you are transformed to a world of care-free delight. Easy to see why you love theme parks so. Enjoy, Adam, we love to come along.
People say there is "nothing to do" at Hollywood Studios these days because of all the construction. But, when you are a fan of history and take the time to look at the details of places, there's always something to do wherever you are. Thanks for this video, it was really interesting!
My grandfather use to be one of chefs at the original The Brown Derby in Los Angeles. It is super cool to know there is a recreated restaurant in Orlando. I must visit!
We never got to experience the MGM Studios we remember from our childhood, Thanks to all your videos there, we can always experience it the way we remembered it on television.
Good morning my friend and I’m so glad you been putting more stuff on this channel again awesome awesome awesome stuff and it looks like you guys had a lot of fun last night
'If you didn't have a keen eye you wouldn't even notice half this stuff...' Thank goodness you DO have a keen eye Adam and personaly that is why I love your vlogs and adventures. You ALWAYS notice the small little details and show them to us. You have the BEST Columbo like research skills! LOL
Always enjoy the "join me, shall you?" Thanks Adam! My wife and I will be celebrating our 15th wedding anniversary in L.A. this year! Thanks to your videos I have mapped out filming locations to see during our trip.
Before going to WDW for the very first time, back in November, I binge watched all of your vlogs, at the parks. I basically retraced your footsteps and had a great time with my family, and I looked so smart, to my daughter’s. This vlog was awesome, cuz we were watching it, saying, we were there, we had dinner at the Sci-Fi
Thanks for another great video, Adam! I really appreciate your love of MGM because it also became my favorite theme park back in '91. Also a huge reason of why I love film and Old Hollywood. While it is super sad that we won't be able to experience the old MGM anymore, it's nice to know that the memories will always be with us :)
I miss the old MGM as well, it was a favorite of mine then too. Keep up the good work, hope you are enjoying your time on the east coast. Hope to see Mom and Dad make an appearance.
Brings back some memories from when I was little! I saw you recording that day at the Chinese theater but didn't wanna be one of those people LOL Thanks for the updates, I am missing Disney already! :)
I started working at Disney /MGM when they still had the Dick Tracy show on the streets of America. It was fun! I also loved to hear the voice of Vincent Price announcing the Sorcery in the Sky fireworks display each night.
The first time I went there was back in 2016 with my family, thanks to your videos I managed to find some of the left over remnants of mgm and pointed it out to my family. "MGM is still alive, as long as you remember it."
Donny Tucker i went in the 90's it was a blast. I wanted to go to universal studios soo bad to see double dare. In front of a live studio audience! Finally went 2 years ago, and no more double dare :(
I worked at Disney MGM Studios from 1989-1991 and was selling popcorn right outside the Star Tours attraction during the dedication ceremony. Of course no one bought popcorn during the ceremony so I got to see the whole thing. Very special moment.
My dad and I are huge fans I’m so happy you’re back in Florida right now! My dad is here visiting going to Epcot on Wednesday. Maybe we will get lucky and see you out and about.
Adam, first ..this video rocks. Good to see you. I just wanted to say thank you again for stopping to take a photo with me on my birthday back in November at Disneyland. I feel like I may have offended you or that I was insensitive when I said I missed your daily videos. True, I do, but I also respect what your reasons were for ending that. I felt a sense of sadness in your voice when I mentioned that. I hope you know I didn't mean to be ungrateful or bitter. I'm truly happy for you coming to the realization of what's truly important to you. Thanks for making my birthday a little sweeter at my favorite place. God bless you and best wishes, Kayla.
As much as I welcome the changes they make, I would love to go back and see it as it was. Thanks for the video Adam, it is a nice break from watching California Gold reruns, I seem to be hooked on watching Huell Howser atm!!
Great video, so much hidden detail and history that most guest will never see. Would love to see a similar video done at DinoLand USA, rumors are they might be replacing that soon.
Adam, you mean it's no MGM any more I guess I have to stop calling it then(not). Great video thanks for sharing .We started taking our kid to Disney in the 90's so remember well.
Hi Adam, I'm not sure if any one mentioned it in the comments, but I think the arch way is a copy of Washington square park in ny..the arch there. Always love your daily vlogs. 😁
Probably already mentioned, but the arch was a replica of the arch in New York's Washington Square Park located in Greenwich Village. The "WDI" stamp is meant to invoke the stamp placed on flats by IATSE the professional stage hand union. Great video...!
I'd give it 2 thumbs up if I could! I love your MGM videos. Side note, I always take time to look at the photos in Mamma Melrose, especially to see that some of my favorites are still there (like Bob Denver!). I wonder who they took down and replaced with new faces... I'd have to try to dig through some old photos.
Greetings Adam. Thanks for the heads up on 13X Studios last night. I’ve been in contact with him and I’ll be ordering some stuff from him soon. I mentioned to him that you sent me, and it made him happy 👍 Take care man
I am of the MGM era, and really appreciate this video. I made a trip to WDW with a church youth group when I was 15, and MGM had just opened. For the entire group, it was an experience that none of us will ever forget, since for most of us, it was the first time any of us had been in a place like that without adult supervision. I think it's a damned shame they are doing this to the park. With all of the land that Disney owns out there, they could have expanded an existing park, or built a whole new park. They could have left this one alone, instead of basically eliminating all of the best parts.
Hi Adam My fiance and I saw you at Cargo Bay on the day you did this video it was pretty crazy! As passholders we have been at the parks the same day as you multiple times without seeing you, glad it finally worked out!
I was there shortly after Disney-MGM opened. Many changes, albeit slowly, over the years. About to face the biggest yet. I miss the Animation parts of it. Still have that coffee mug for the memories....
Went back in '05 I believe? I can't really remember what year, but it was definitely still called MGM Studios and I absolutely adored it back then. The stunt car show, indiana jones stunt show, great movie ride, star tours, and ended the day with Fantasmic! where we got last-second standing spots, and Maleficent's fire was so hot we felt it all the way against the guardrailing. Went back last July, and it certainly felt like a disappointment...glad I got on the great movie ride before it closed! Hope Toy Story & Star Wars Land are good fixes for the park!
This makes me sad. This was my favorite theme park when I was growing up in the late 80's early 90's. This theme park will forever be MGM Studios to me.
MGM was my favorite park once upon a time as well. Favorite was was GMR and It breaks my heart that the park has gone away from the classic hollywood theme.
Thanks for bearing with me as I dive deep into my youth trying to find some of the few remaining relics of The MGM studios days
Very cool to see you wearing #DazedWithJordanTheLion tshirt.. (y)
Like the old school park info. 👍
TheDailyWoo Thank you for sharing information from your generation to mine and others!

Donny Tucker i went in the 90's it was a blast.
I wanted to go to universal studios soo bad to see double dare. In front of a live studio audience!
Finally went 2 years ago, and no more double dare :(
I went to universal in 90 or 91 but didn't get to see double dare! But I did ride BTTF twice and it was amazing.
I went to the California parks and it was even greater! Like I could make a dream out of the dream I made
I worked at Disney MGM Studios from 1989-1991 and was selling popcorn right outside the Star Tours attraction during the dedication ceremony. Of course no one bought popcorn during the ceremony so I got to see the whole thing. Very special moment.
