I just realized that the four heroes who were sharing books (Hulk & Submariner, Iron Man & Captain America) all got books at same time, but Cap started with 100 while IM started with #1, and Hulk started with 101 while Subby got a #1!
Man I tell you these books are where its at. I love adventure into fear. You cant beat those old horror books. Man Thing is one my top five all time characters. I wish current comics could bring him back with respect but lets be honest, current comics can't seem to get anything right! Gold, Silver, Bronze is where its at! Love these videos and say DAMN! way to often
Great score. Bronze age is a very overlooked era. I feel they're going to explode in value after the recession is over and silver age books get back out of reach for most collectors. Horror in particular could get harder to find since golden age horror seems to be in demand now.
I think so too. And I really enjoy the comics and stories too. Bronze and silver are my pretty much my main focus in collecting. But since silver age is getting harder to obtain, I’m going all in on bronze! Thanks for watching!
The Black Knight comics are NOT newsstand copies - they are direct sales. Two ways to tell: 1. no CC (Curtis Circulation) five-digit number in the price box - has the U.K. price there instead. 2. Barcode number series doesn't begin with "71486" as all Marvel newsstand comics did in the 1980s and 1990s. A different number prefix ("24689") was used on direct sales-only titles during that time. Foe example, this happened when Marvel took The 'NAM to a direct-only distribution. Hope this clarification helps you and other Marvel collectors.
Bro, great seeing you today. Thanks for coming by. I’m all about the bronze Capt America and Sub Mariner. Great finds!
Thanks for having me over! I had a great time digging through comics and talking! See you again soon.
Thanks for the shoutout!! I was shocked seeing Gotham being shouted out. Much love! See you on the next stream!
Anytime bro! Always a great time on the streams! Thanks!
@Patriot Comics thanks man! Got a nice collection today so I might do a pop up later tonight
