Reading about the Battle of Vienna in 1683 and the Polish Heavy Hussar charge into the Turks, the largest cavalry charge in the history of warfare, makes me harder than Slaanesh after Death Night. 18,000 Polish and German knights crushed those Turkish clowns. The Polish king, Jan Sobieski, led a 3k man strong regiment of his Winged Hussars himself. Yeah. I love cavalry too.
When a mounted hero is pinned in a complete circle by infantry spears and pikes, the fact that he is stun-locked and unable to escape is a feature not a bug AFAIC. This is how Hollywood heroes die in a tragic blaze of glory.

Great game... in the late game - you should have positioned your dragon princes on the far side of the hill, away from the reaper bolt throwers. Loved the net + convocation combo from Teclis :-) \m/
I think the Vermintide patch had a fix where they have the rats spread out more or stand around or something instead of just crushing around and it makes the hordes last longer and it makes it real cool
what do you think about sisters of slaughter i don't think they'll be a competitive pick executioners for 100 more are a lot more resistant to damage while having a lot more straight up killing power compared to their more grindy style
Those bolt throwers seemed to be missing so many of their shots, in both firing modes. Maybe they were doing damage, and I just couldn't tell because the models themselves weren't reacting.

I still rarely see people stack a cheap spear unit on artillery crew, which can pretty much guarantee the artillery will survive for a long time. Any meatshield will do, zombies, spearmen, peasant mob, etc, just an extra bit of money to let your artillery really get its money worth

nah hes been in the game since launch, hes not an unlockable starting lord. only way to get him is by confederating or recruiting him after a campaign start
I do wonder, is there like a discord channel dedicated to these kind of battles or do you have firends just always ready to do stuff like this? I am kind of looking for a discord server with a roleplaying aspect in warhammer II.
Losing the executioner early like that really cost him the game, Cold Ones are too expensive to be effective though, better using more dreadspears and using light cav to block the Dragon Prince, DE cav sux balls.
Fate of bjuna will destroy the ror dragon princes, just wait for them to engage, do a fate of bjuna and then even the crappy DE cav can kill them. They nerfed lore of life so much that now fate of bjuna is just a kill for expensive units
fate of bjuna has been like that since launch, lore of life and regrowth has never been able to efficiently counter it unless you INSTANTLY cast it as fate of bjuna hits. you lose models too quickly. this is why a lot of people are refusing to use Bjuna now, its just a stupid, unfun spell

Not directly. However, Bonus versus Large is distributed between regular and AP damage at the same ratio as the unit's base Weapon Strength. Against large units, the Fireborn get +13 regular and +5 AP damage.
What predwin said. The AP component of an attack always ignores armour mitigation. The rest of the damage is reduced by a randomly rolled percentage between half and 100% of the armour value. As an example, if an Empire Swordsman successfully hits a Chaos Warrior, his Weapon Strength's AP component of 7 will always be dealt. The remaining 21 is reduced by an average of 75%, but it could be reduced by as little as half, or by as much as 100%. So unless other modifiers apply (charge bonus, fatigue, and resistances mostly) the Swordsman's 'real' damage against a 100 armour enemy is going to be between 7 and 17, with an average of about 12. There might be a minimum of 1 damage after armour mitigation (I can't recall), in which case the minimum damage here would be 8.

Dragon princes are a money black hole and if you know and love hvy cav you shouldn't take them ... and seriously...for real....what kind dimwit 2min+ strat game experienced noob bring fire lore vs elves ? In what kind of troll matchup are you gonna use the fire rez ? Even the empire solar knights does pretty much the same as ror dragon prince yet cost less. Do you realize that for the same cost you could bring a freaking dragon and rekt enemy cav/heroes/hvy inf alike ? With dragon princes as soon as they have anti large def you can put them in a corner and wait ...

I think the sisters of slaughter have a decent block chance cause's they're fast enough to see the shots coming and block them

Cold Ones(anti-large) destroy most of the enemy cav ( including DragonPrincess). They got armor piercing too.

I'd take the High Elves a lot more seriously if they did not wear penis shaped helmets all the time.
