Depending on your country, the polish konsulate in that country usually posts the dates on their sites to notify you when it will be. So you can check and see. Also be mindful of the time they mention

Yes you need the work permit because you will have to feed in its details as you apply. With the current booking system, you are required to first fill in details of your work permit and wait for it to be approved, after that, they will give you ago ahead to fill in the application form that you will take to the embassy in your visa appointment date

The one that gets a date first, is the one you go ahead and use. People always have 5 or more trying that's why dates are captured super first. Try that and see

Hi, Please for Poland Visa application, what happens if; 1) I do not get an embassy appointment date until the indicated travel date on my application form? Will the application still be valid? 2) Will getting a date that is very close to or past my intended travel date affect my application and expected documentations (medical insurance and flight reservation dates) in any way? Hello, sorry for the late response, when booking appointment, once you get the date and you are given a go ahead to start feeling in the form, please at least count 14 days from the date that you have gotten.... That will help you be safe. 2. No it won't affect since your work permit is valid for a year....for the flight reservation, get it a day to your visa appointment date.
Oohhh! Then it will not be granted because schegen only works for those traveling for atmost 3months for issues such as tourism, visits and other issues. For national visa you have to keep monitoring for the day when the system would be open for booking.
