    From the generation of humans who sadly were too late to witness Art Bell personally and only have the recordings and podcasts to go off, he was amazing and I have listened to almost every show repeatedly and will continue to do so.

    Art carried me through the darkest days of my life and I believe saved me. I still haven't gotten over his death. RIP, Art.

    I miss you Art! It was fun loosing sleep. I was a Chef and worked late nights, I would record your full show and listen to it when I got home. You helped me unwind after feeding thousands of guests. RIP

    I discovered Art Bell around 1998 and was instantly obsessed. I followed him through all the drama in his life that he shared with us. The night he announced the death of Ramona, his terrible back problems, the sudden move to the Philippines, the new wife, the cats, all the "retirements" and returns. I was really happy that he chose George Noory to take over but man I loved when Art would do the weekends or Halloween or New Year's predictions (bong.. ding ding)
    He died on my son's birthday and somehow I felt like it was just one more connection for me to remember him. He was the best and I'm so glad for the time i got to spend listening to him. And so glad he was able to be honored in the radio hall of fame. He totally deserves it.

    Im so late to the party. 50 years old and just found Art a few months ago. God, I'm glad those radio shows were recorded...and we live in the internet age. I might have missed this experience.

    Rest in peace Art. In my opinion there's no one who deserves this more than you. We miss you and your nightly 'theatre of the mind'.

    I am late to Art Bell, I’m sure I had heard of his name throughout the years as a kid in the mid 90’s switching radio channels. So now In 2022 I’m listening to every show on his podcast, sometimes in repeat. RIP

    Adam Carolla being part of Art Bell going into the Radio Hall of Fame...I never would have expected that. That would be an interesting interview between those two, if Adam avoids his rants. Art was the best, a well deserved honor.

    I'll say the quiet part out loud - Isn't it suspicious how literally a couple of weeks after his wife Ramona died (while her and Art were alone in a camper) he's making plans to marry then 22-year-old Airyn Ruiz?

    • @Galen-864
      @Galen-864 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Art relied on Ramona for everything, so when she died he didn't even know how to shop for groceries. He was a broken man and, I believe, panicked and married too soon. Many widowers do that.

      I think quite the opposite. I think Miss Ruiz caused arts overdose. And collected his money.
