You can set the calendar to display whatever time period you would like. Mine just always displays the next 3-4 weeks. I'm sure you could get it working with a touch screen. I just don't use that feature. Honestly for anything further out, I'm probably just going to use my phone or computer.
Weird to be searching videos on the dakboard and find someone from my hometown! Do you use an app for the school lunches or how do you get that to display? Our school uses the Nutrislice app for lunch menus and I wish I could see it this easily.
Nutrislice is a built in widget for Dakboard. You just need to add that widget to your display and then edit the information in the settings to get it to display the correct school / meal.
If you are at all worried about getting the Pi setup, you can just buy a pre-loaded sd card from Dakboard: shop.dakboard.com/collections/pre-loaded-micro-sd-cards
I respect your hard work and patience to create something like this in this program, after a week of trying, I simply turned it off.
On the pic can you use other calendar programs like time tree for example. How do you sync/create your events with you setup. This is awesome
I don't know about Time Tree. I'm using the iCal data from our google calendars.

They do support touchscreen, but this is not a touchscreen monitor. I created another video showing off my touch screen Jukebox.
How do you run it on other tablets? Just by using the Dakboard app on those devices?

Scores are from Scorestream. They even have local high school sports, which is cool.

This is a 32" AOC monitor. Nothing fancy. Honestly, I really just wanted something where the boarder was even all the way around.
